Plume

I'm once again joining Neet (whose blog is Hickydorums) at Art Journal Journey.  By now you probably know her theme is It must have wings.

It's obvious I named this Plume.  Detail shots below.

I started by copying the focal image from an art coffee table book I own using my color laser printer.  I then adhered it to a sheet of 110 lb cardstock in standard 8.5 X 11 inches (21.59 X 27.94 centimeters).  I then used my Martha Stewart punch that created the length of paper lace the length of the cardstock.  Finally, I used a yellow highlighter to color the word I computer generated using my black-only laser printer.

Thanks for dropping by today. Bleubeard and I are thrilled you stopped by and hope to see you at Art Journal Journey.  Perhaps you will consider sharing your own interpretation of It must have wings.

Wow, that is a long border to punch out so accurately. Beautiful, And i love the plumed bird you have shown us today, I think it must be some kind of bird of paradise to look so beautiful.
Thanks for joining in with my theme at Art journal Journey.
Hugs, Neet xxx

I have that same place paper punch. I knew it looked familiar. And that's a lovely bird image too. I take it these are on a white background? This is another lovely piece for Neet's challenge. I hope you're having a good week. hugs-Erika
