I took over 40 photos of my coffee and two envelopes from friends I received last week. None of the photos were legible. I own a large tripod that extends to six feet. It is too heavy and big for me, so I gave it to my friend Scott a couple of years ago. I have decided to look for a small tripod I can place on the dining room or craft table to take decent photos now that my hands are so shaky. In the meantime, I will bring back a post from several years ago that is relevant.
I call this T Stands For Mardi Gras. Some of you may be concerned that I threw two babies into this cup of tea. However, these babies bake in a King Cake at 350 F (176.67 C), so a bit of warm tea is like bathing the baby in bath water.
I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink
related post. It can be
photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed
media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is
digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back
to a drink, any drink. Regardless,
please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T
participants. Please link only your T post and not your
blog in general. Bleubeard would like to remind you that old
photos are acceptable because they may be taken
any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year. Please remember to visit your
fellow T participants.
6 thoughtful remarks:
Happy T Day, Elizabeth! I used to have all the Mardi Gras beads and babies, but when we moved here 30 years ago, gave it all away. I know what you mean about too heavy. I can't lift a lot. In fact, as of April 1st, when I am having shoulder replacement surgery, I won't be able to lift anything. They say 6 months recovery!
Dear Elizabeth, I'm sorry that you're having such problems taking photos. But the older photo on the Mardi Gras theme is absolutely worth showing again, it fits perfectly. As for your wish for a small tripod: You might be able to help yourself with a beanbag tripod, which you can easily make from a fabric or plastic bag filled with beans, corn kernels, rice, coffee beans or sand. I found an easy English-language video tutorial for you here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G8Z65N7EUp8
All the best, happy T-day and have a nice March, Traude

So sorry about your hands
That's too bad about your shaking hands. I'm so sorry to read about that. I hope you can find a tripod. I know there are all kinds of them so I think you'll be able to find something. I remember this Mardi Gras photo, and it 's a good one. I really like the babies floating in your tea. I hope you have a wonderful T day my friend. hugs-Erika
...take care and I hope that you will be better soon.
So sorry to hear about your hands getting worse. Reckon you´ve tried magnesium and all that without improvement? Loads of water to drink and all the "boring" stuff?
The babies look a tad creepy, LOL. Some Irish here celebrate, they call it "Fat Tuesday"... Have a happy T-Day and I hope you find help for your hands soon.
