T Stands For Elle's Halloween T

My sincere apologies to my readers, followers, and lurkers, including my T Tuesday participants and Art Journal Journey.  "Failed to Publish" has returned and it took nearly three days to get many of my comments to publish.  I still have several that still won't publish, including two from Violetta from last Tuesday, and for that, I apologize. Be aware, this is only a blogger issue.  Other formats/platforms are unaffected.

Once again I am at my dining room table where I have a lovely gift from Elle and more gifted tea from Iris.  This is a sad tale of the Halloween gift Elle sent me.  The last time I checked my mail was the day I voted, which was the 28th of October.  It has been raining nearly every day and I can't get regular shoes on, so I have been wearing house slippers.  I don't want to get them wet, so I haven't been out to check my mail.  My sweet next door neighbor called this morning because he can't work when it's raining.  He asked if I needed anything and I said "Yes, can you bring in my mail."  I had over 14 inches of mail.  Even he was astonished I had allowed it to accumulate as it did.  When I saw this gift from Elle, I knew I had to feature it for T Tuesday.

First, we'll start with the tea.  It is another Cupper brand tea and is Good Morning blend.

While it steeps, I'll open the very belated Halloween gift from Elle,

which I'm sure arrived in time for me to open for Halloween.  I'm sure most everyone knows the postage stamps are of my namesake, now deceased Queen Elizabeth II.  Look.  The post office didn't obliterate the stamp that hadn't been cancelled.

Elle certainly took a lot of time stamping the back, too!

Isn't it remarkable?  I loved running my hand over the cats, spider webs, spider, and letters.

My photos don't do it justice.

Elle did even more stamping inside.  I especially loved the mummy with the jackolantern.

On the back is Elle's famous stretching cat.  Thank you beyond belief for thinking of me this Halloween, Elle.  This has now gone in my Halloween tip in book.

It's now time to drink this tea.  I think this is the best and sweetest I have had.  I believe I could drink this all day long.

And for those of you who speak German, this is the back of the package in which this teabag came.  The only thing I sort of understood was steep for 7 to 8 minutes.  Sorry it isn't clearer.  It's not the camera, but my shaky hands that make these photos blurry.

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.

Almost all our mail is either junk or duplicates of something we get online anyway. But I can’t imagine going so long while it piles up outside! Sad that you had to do that, and it’s good that your neighbor brought it in for you.

The tea just says it has a lemon note :-)
Oh, what a very cool card from Elle!!!!
Love the stamp where your name-sister is laughing. She really had a great sense of humor, as did her hubby. I remember when he mixed himself into the guards and she tried so hard not to laugh :-)
What a great BOO!
Happy T-Day, you made me smile.

Wow I was wondering what happened to the card LOL. I'm so glad we have letterboxes in our front doors, at least then we don't get mail build up at the end of the drive. Happy T Day!

Sorry I'm late. (I thought I had commented already. Oh dear my memory!)
That tea sounds really nice. I'm going to try and get it online.
Elle's halloween card is wonderful. She is really talented. I love the 'Elizabethan' stamps.
Happy (belated) T-Day,
Lisca
