Monday Murals: a third poster

I'm still getting the occasional "Failed to Publish" messages that are on blogs with embedded comments.  It is so random, and far less than before, but I will try until my comment finally publishes.

It's time once again to join Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals.  Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 11:01 a.m. my time today.

This is the third in the series of amazing alcoholic drink related posters under glass.  If you missed them, the first week's poster is here and the second week's poster is here

This (and the other posters) is found inside the tea shop at The Spice Merchant located at 1308 E Douglas, Wichita, Kansas (USA).

If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World

That is a totally fun mural.
I get most of my failed to comment messages on my own blog but can usually fix that by temporarily changing browsers. It is still an aggravation though.

Lovely mural. I sometimes do a 'select all' and 'copy' on the comment I am about to publish and then press 'publish' and it seems to work then! Go figure

Your idea of switching from murals to posters is very nice, as the range of poster art for the last 150 years is amazing, and so much better preserved than murals, which often fall when their buildings are demolished or remodeled. The Toni-Kola poster is available from many sources on the web, which mostly pretend they are the originator; however one source says:

“Little is known about the artist of the poster Robys (Robert Wolff). His works have been documented from 1933 to 1950, and many were done in one over size sheet measuring in average 51x78 inches. His style is somewhat bold but yet whimsical in the genre of Cappiello, D’ Ylen, and LeMonnier”

In the past, I was in the habit of purchasing a poster from many art exhibits that I attended (which stopped when the prices became very high). It might be fun to mine that store of art works.

I've forgotten if I said, but switching browsers from Firefox to Chrome fixed my commenting problem. Odd, but it worked for me. Now I use Chrome for blog commenting but not for anything else lol

Nice poster, the parrot is great.
Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Elizabeth.
Sorry being so late with my Mural visits, but the whole neighbourhood had no internet yesterday, tried visiting via my mobile with my data but it was taking ages, so I gave up!
