I'm once again joining my dear friend Chris, our host this month at Art Journal Journey, with her Where in the World theme. This is a different take on Where in the World.
I'm asking Where in the World were these postage stamps cancelled? If you recognize any of these, please let me know. I know the British and a few from Spain, Greece, and Germany. Most of the rest are a mystery to me. However, I know you can't really see them up close, so I have given you a few step out photos that should make them closer. And because there are a few faces in the mix, I will join Nicole and her Friday Face Off later tonight.
I started by creating the title in my word processor program, then printed it on 110 lb. cardstock. Then I went through my large stash of postage stamps and found many that were colorful and looked like they would go well together colorwise.
I hope you will join Bleubeard and me at Art Journal Journey and Friday Face Off. As always, we are grateful for your support.

What a clever (and fun) take on the theme. Thank you.
That is a neat stamp array. I like the stamp with the cartoon gourd and the one with a plum from Belarus (even though right now I don't like Belarus). I googled and found that they were part of a whole series of vegetable stamps!

Deutsche Bundespost, LOL, doesn´t exist since January 1995, so also I think that was 30 and 40 Pfennig! These days a letter goes out (Germany-wide) for 85 cents!
The cherry-one is cute.
...some stamp provide a snapshot of the country, a nice throwback.
Great idea Elizabeth. This is a very clever page, and I love your idea. You have a great world wide stamp collection too. What a fun page for Chris' challenge. And you didn't even need to use any ink, rubber stamps, etc to make it. :) hugs-Erika
I thought I was going to have to look for Carmen Sandiego. 😺 You have a great assortment of stamps.
Nice variety. I don't ever see actual stamped mail these days.
Lots of lovely stamps and faces! Hugs!
Stamps are so much fun, aren't they? You've got some clever ones here.
Fun response to the prompt.
Happy Friday.
Much💖love
Oh your collection is amazing. The post prints off so many stanmps and when they are gone they are gone. Glad you have saved them. Thank you for sharing them with FFO.
I see one stamp (pale orange with 27 and Espana on it) that was cancelled in Palma de Mallorca. Most of them are too difficult to read though.
Oh there is a blue one with Nippon 35 on it that was cancelled in Matsuyama Japan.
A great stamp collection 👍
Happy PPF weekend 💐
What, no Canadian stamps, LOL? Fun post! I used to collect stamps when I was a kid (who didn't, right?) so this was a real trip down memory lane!
Funny story. The kids in Ottawa got a postcard. It was from Turkey. They were there LAST YEAR! They gave them to the concierge to post. tee hee. Ours has not arrived.
We did get some from Singapore, though.
A wonderful collection of postage stamps Elizabeth. I love how you arranged them on this page.
