It's Friday, which means it's time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's visit Annie and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday. Sadly, I have nothing else to share this week except my garden.
Fast forward to Wednesday of this week and you can see how everything has gotten bigger. Basil is ready for a haircut, borage is doing OK after I replanted what was left of it after a critter dug it up, nibbled on it, then left it for dead on the tarp, and cilantro which will soon have a few new babies in the form of coriander seeds.
Not doing well, dead in fact, is my dill. The caterpillars have stripped the dill and gotten fatter than fat. I just hope after they turn into monarchs, they will remember to stick around a few days so I can enjoy them as they enjoyed the dill I planted.
Thanks for dropping by today. Enjoy your weekend. PLEASE visit Annie and don't forget to start your weekend with a smile.

Hi Elizabeth, glad your plants are doing so well, enjoy. Pity about the dill! Have a fun Friday, look after yourself! Hugs, Valerie
Your herbs look so healthy! We also lost a dill plant this year, though had good luck other years. It wasn't eaten, it just withered away. And the plant stores don't have any more. What do you cook with all your harvests?

Hi Elizabeth it's great to see how well your plants are doing. I am going to have to plant something new this week as the salad plants had gone to seed and were getting to tough to eat but I'll find something soon I'm sure. Pleased to say though my cauliflowers are coming on well. Take care and have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Angela xXx
They look really good. I should have spent time in the garden but didn't. My bad.
Your herbs are doing really well....I just wish I knew what to do with it all once it grows. We lost our chives this year to the black fly so need to grow more.
Hugs,
Annie x
They are looking healthy and lush--even if a little had to be donated to the caterpillars. :)
You really try to care for your plants so well and now they are rewarding you. They are all looking good. You almost have a sensory garden of your own. Kate x
Oh, lucky you. Here still nothing - no wonder it´s 18C / 64F around lunch-time. The hottest months...
...dead heading is important, keep up the good work.
Lovely gardening!
It looks wonderful, except for the stripped dill, but everyone has to eat!
Wow, they sure have grown! Your plants look green and lush, a joy to behold Graham would say. You can be proud.
Enjoy your weekend,
Hugs,
Lisca
The plants are looking good except that one pot of dill. Sadly monarchs only feed on milkweed, so whatever those caterpillars are, they aren't monarchs. I know you've had warm temperatures and that makes me wonder (not by the condition of your plants) what are the top temperatures for herbs to grow. I know the low (varies by plants), but not the high. I'm sure I could look it up. Have a great FRiday night and start to your weekend. hugs-Erika
Your herbs looks so good. I have tons of dill. It's other garden veggies that didn't make it this year because of the cold weather. Your plants looks so healthy otherwise.
Wonderful selection of plants growing so well ~
Wishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
