Today you'll find Bleubeard and me at four blogs and joining their blog hops. Before we begin, I am having troubles leaving comments on some blogs. I get "Failed to Comment" that lasts more than a day. If I don't have access to the person's e-mail, I leave comments to the blog hosts hoping they will contact the person I can't.
How fortuitous that Fruit is what Rain's prompt is this week. I've been eating on these mandarin oranges all week.
I'm sharing this with Erika, who some of you know as BioArtGal, our host this month at Art Journal Journey. She wants to see Red in our art.
I created a background by mixing a Staz-on reinker with 91%
isopropyl alcohol, then spread it on the 110 lb white cardstock using a makeup sponge. I cut a square of red paper, then wrote the sentiment using a white gel pen. The focal image came from my stash.
Now it's time to join Friday Smiles, hosted by Annie (at A Stitch in Time). Let's visit Annie and the other wonderful ladies who also share their smiles each Friday. I've dug up a few funnies for your Friday Smiles. There's one in particular Annie might relate to!
It appears Vince, the sign guy has been outed and now creates signs for himself instead of for Indian Hills in Colorado (a state in USA).
I think I'll stop here. I'll share more next week.
Now it's time to visit Art Journal Journey, Rain's Art and Dinner Date, Nicole's Friday Face Off, and Friday Smiles. I hope to see you at all these sites this week.

Love your multi meme post and am smiling at those signs. Thank you. I am sorry you are still having commenting woes.
Hmmm, I really need mandarines! Ours sadly are often crappy...
No snow here, I have a rain-family :-)
Yes, I´m stuck at #1... Oh, ALE, please.
Too "happy people"... sadly true.
LOL. The Spanish, I learned, say they have a burning brownie when they have another more important thing to do.
Us Germans were certainly wondering about that in a meeting!
Poor Albert.
(And yes, still some blogs I cannot comment. Sad...)
Hi Elizabeth it always amazes me how many of these signs there actually are. Someone definitely has a good sense of humour for sure. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs Angela xXx
I'm not sure which sign you think might relate to me but they certainly made me chuckle.
Hugs,
Annie x
Those mandarines look good. It is just about the end of their season here but there are still a few around, and plenty of oranges.
I have never had Montery jack chese. It looks interesting.
I love those signs. They are so clever and always make me smile.

...thanks for the laughs with Vince the Sign Guy!!!
Cheese and mandarins look delicious together! You really participate in a lot of blog events.

Sorry about the issues with commenting.
Yummy oranges. I must put them on the grocery list!
The funny signs are always a good laugh for me. I particularly like the chemistry one - OMg!
Your snow people page is perfect for not only AJJ, but for the bitter cold weather we're having here in NH. Did you get that arctic blast in Wichita? I'm not sure it went down quite that far, but it is always hard to tell on the TV weather maps. And your funnies today really made me smile. I especially loved the oxygen and magnesium dating one as well as the fish tacos one. But they are all a hoot. Hope you're having a some beautiful weather today and a good FRiday too. hugs-Erika
Such a fun and color post today. We're going into a deep freeze. I hope things are warming up for you. Enjoy the weekend.
Very happy faces which match both challenges.
Wishing you the most wonderful new February month ❤️🌷
So much to enjoy in your post! Always love the funnies!
Hmmmm cheese, crackers, and oranges how can one go wrong? Your winter family is so cute and makes me happy to see. Also all the funnies. BTW you are right. I do make some of my own skulls but I do use store bought too. Thank you for joining FFO. Have a wonderful day today.
Nice art, love mandarins too, and had some laughs at those crazy signs!
Cheese, crackers, and fruit sounds good :) I haven't had monterey jack in ages. That may hafta go on my next grocery list...
Love the cheese, crackers and oranges. And all your darling vintage pieces. And especially the fun signs!
Fabulous art journal page, red is such a festive colour and you partnered it beautifully with the snowman image 😊. Those mandarins look good too and the funnies made me smile. Happy February! Hugs Jo x
I thoughts you might be eating those tangerines for a little while. The only time I have had Monterrey Jack cheese was melted on a burger- I clearly wrongly assumed that it wasn't eaten any other way. I love these happy snowmen. Those funnies had me laughing all the way through. Hugs, Chrisx
OMG ~ The signs are hilarious, Elizabeth. Your snow family is lively and fun with all the reds. Mandarins are a wonderful treat. Have a great weekend!
Those are good snacks. Nice work and thanks for the laughs!
this is so fantastic so cute journal page and the many signs! Your food must have tasted delicious.
Have a beautiful weekend, hug Elke
Sorry I don't know how I missed this post, I love fruit and cheeses together. I started saving the mandarin peels for dye making-should have enough by next week sometime-thanks for the inspiration.
Loved your art and signs too hugs from the lake
LOVE the funnies!! :)
Crackers, cheese and Mandarin Oranges, yummm ... sounds like a great idea for my lunch. Your Snow family is cute and perfect for today's weather and LOL, the signs are great. I keep thinking "that's my favorite" until I read the next one. Glad to know you have more to come :) Hugs to Bleubeard and stay Warm and Cozy, Elizabeth :)

Your snow family is so cute! Oh those signs, my favourite is the laziness one, so clever! I love how you presented your oranges on the plate, lovely colour, very artsy! ☺
lol, your snowy family are beautiful :)
Where on earth did you find all those billboards - they are fantastic! Thanks Elizabeth.
Love your Snow Family page - so much red without it being overpowering - I love the little red noses and rosy cheeks.
