T Stands For Art From A Friend

I was immediately drawn to Bleubeard's and Squiggles' names, 

and completely overlooked my own.  I'm sure we all know who lives near Boston, MA, don't we?  Of course, it's our dear CJ.

I know how Lisca likes to see the postage stamps and this one gives cause to CELEBRATE!

 

Upon opening the envelope, this is what I discovered.  Although you can't see it in the photo, I accidentally sliced through the postage stamp when I opened the envie.  Look at all these wonderful goodies CJ sent me.  Her calligraphy makes my heart pitter patter.  My name has never looked so beautiful.  I also love how Squiggles and Bleubeard are sitting on my initial.  Such a lovely painting and drawing.  Did anyone notice how CJ drew Squiggles with his white paws?  I did!

I loved the way CJ got the anniversary year 8 in the post and how she used it.  Those eight kittens in the tea cups are incredibly adorable.  SO clever.  Note the cute stamp holding the envie in place is a reference to a drink, as are the tea cups.

I wanted to share what I sent to everyone whose name I drew.  Each person received one sheet of handmade paper and two vintage postcards from my stash. 

I also purchased these coffee related postage stamps, which I used to send to everyone.  I still haven't heard from two of my International players whether they have received their ATCs or not.

 

It's now time to share your own drink inspired post this week.  It can be gifts you received, photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, mail art, junk mail, catalogs, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I, along with the rest of the T gang will be by to visit.   Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and most assuredly not just this year.
