Monday Murals: Fishy

It's once again time to join Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals.  Even though it's still Sunday in my world, please be aware that Sami's mural link goes live at 11:01 a.m. my time today.

This is actually called Swimming Upstream.

It was painted in 2019

and is a part of Avenue Art Days murals.

It was painted by Delilah Reed and is located in the Clifford Square Shopping Center in Wichita, Kansas (USA).

Although I didn't plan it this way, I want to wish all fathers a happy Father's Day.  After all, lots of men love to fish, so it turned out to be appropriate for this holiday.

If you enjoy murals from around the world, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.  Thanks for stopping to see Bleubeard and me today, too.

It´s perfect for Father´s Day!
We have no kids, but Ingo loves to try and catch fish (once he even succeeded. Once. I´d never had the patience, but reckon catching is not the point?).

Beautifully made, great artists.

That's a cool piece as I like fish. I would never have thought of that as a mural, so I'm glad you showed it. It's got me thinking about murals in a different way. Have a great Sunday my friend. Hugs-Erika

That's a great summery scene, all those brightly-colored fish swimming in the blue water.

I love that mural, especially the imaginative way it's located on a low wall.

...this sure is an interesting mural, the orange fish pop! I've always felt that I have always been a fish swimming in the wrong direction. There's no missing this one!

So interesting, artistic, and colorful, as always. It’s amazing you have so many murals in your area to see! I’m so sorry to have been MIA and worried you. It’s just that summer, hot weather, family visits, and aging in general have slowed me down. Sewing by machine is one thing my hands can still do though, so I’ll be around a bit longer? Thank you for caring!

Nothing fishy about your mural post, ha ha. That mural is the "reel" thing! You are certainly good about spotting murals! We have so many here but I have not joined the mural bloggie world yet.

I love how vibrant the fish look, and true, lots of guys enjoy fishing. Over the weekend there was a Marlin Fishing contest, and a guy who just graduated from high school won 1.5 million dollars for his catch! Can you believe that? This kid is set for life! Sending lots of hugs, RO
