Love is not a game of chance
Recently I've been thinking a lot about love.
Perhaps that is what led me to create this latest entry in my month of Hearts that I'm hosting at Art Journal Journey. And because Try it on Tuesday's theme is Going Green (the color) I'm also joining them with my predominantly green heart and background.
I point out
that love
is not a game of chance, unlike the game of Bingo.
For this page, I began with a background of 110 lb card stock I colored using more of my shaving cream paper. I cut a heart from card stock and smooshed it around the predominantly green area of the shaving cream and dye ink. I did the same with the words "Love" and "is not a game of chance." I then sewed a Bingo card, the heart, and the words to the page using variegated thread.
Thanks ever so much for stopping by today. Your visits mean the world to me. I hope to also see you at Art Journal Journey and Try it on Tuesday.

Your journal page is beautiful, and the words so right. Love the blue and green together. Have a nice day, Valerie
LOVE and INGO, sounds familiar, Elizabeth!
In fact, he always has to explain how to pronounce his name as most "English-tongues" compare it to my name and try the same with his.
"Dingo without the D" is great for Aussies, and "Bingo withou...." you know :-)
Thank you for the smile :-)
And I love green, too! Visit us! Hall, living room, kitchen... green elements (as in parts of the walls) all over (not too much).
Thanks for linking this cool page up to TIOT too. I love the green in the background and the theme of the page is really clever. Nice bingo card. The stitching is the "icing on the cake" as they say. Great page for your challenge. You have outdone yourself and the month isn't even over yet.
Beautifully colored and done, Elizabeth. The word are clever and so true.
Happy day to you!
I like the non-traditional colors and blue and green is a favorite combo of mine. Nicely done.
I never know what I am going to find here - your inventiveness is
never-ending..
Today a Bingo card and a thought-provoking quote about "Love" which I am going to think about. The three sewn on pieces, the Bingo card and the words all make this something different and unique, and also beautiful.
Love from Sheila
The blue and green are good together and perfect for the heart now that the red/pink Valentine day is over and we're closing in on spring. As always, I'm impressed by the sewing.
I like the blue and green colors you used for this Elizabeth. This is beautiful.
Beautiful creation. Love the background and the added stitching.
This is so softy and pretty. I just love it. Any particular reason you've been thinking about love.....
I am thrilled with this imaginative great page you have wonderful ideas again and again! sewing is fabulous!!!
Greetings Elke
It's a beautiful page and I really like your sentiment, so true
Joan
Good words to go with this beautiful page. I wouldn't like to play a game that would effect the feelings of the heart, although chance could play its part in finding true love.
A page that realy makes us stop and think.
I love the heart, the details and of course the way you added the stitching.
Thank you so much for adding this awesome page with the current TioT's theme as well.
Yvonne xx
A pretty page. You have me thinking about what I believe about love. ;)
Love your use of multi coloured thread, Elisabeth. I have some of that somewhere... it always adds a special touch to your wonderful stitching. More great recycling, too.

I love how your shaving cream paper works and looks. And I also like the heart theme with blue vs. all the pinks and reds, which I also like but this is different. It has a good feel!
Lovely page. Thank you for joining us at Try it on Tuesday.
I think blue and green work so well together, a very nice page.
All the best Jan
Beautiful page! I'm loving your background, the shaving foam technique and colours look amazing 😁. Thanks so much for another beautiful entry at Try it on Tuesday! Hugs, Jo x
Such beautiful colours and I love that you are continuing to join us at Try It On Tuesday (of course, I knew you would do us proud!) Thank you! Hugs, Chrisx
Well of course I adore the bingo card addition to this page! In addition to that it is really beautiful.both in design and colour. Wow!
This is how my friend Wesley Virgin's report begins in this SHOCKING and controversial video.
Wesley was in the army-and shortly after leaving-he discovered hidden, "self mind control" tactics that the CIA and others used to obtain everything they want.
These are the same secrets lots of famous people (notably those who "come out of nowhere") and elite business people used to become rich and successful.
You probably know that you use only 10% of your brain.
Mostly, that's because most of your brainpower is UNCONSCIOUS.
Perhaps that conversation has even occurred INSIDE OF YOUR very own head... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's head seven years ago, while riding a non-registered, trash bucket of a vehicle with a suspended license and on his banking card.
"I'm absolutely fed up with living payroll to payroll! Why can't I become successful?"
You've taken part in those conversations, isn't it right?
Your success story is going to happen. You just need to take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.

This is how my associate Wesley Virgin's autobiography begins with this shocking and controversial video.
You see, Wesley was in the military-and shortly after leaving-he found hidden, "self mind control" tactics that the CIA and others used to get anything they want.
These are the exact same methods many famous people (especially those who "come out of nothing") and top business people used to become wealthy and successful.
You've heard that you utilize only 10% of your brain.
Really, that's because the majority of your BRAINPOWER is UNTAPPED.
Maybe this conversation has even occurred INSIDE your very own mind... as it did in my good friend Wesley Virgin's mind 7 years back, while riding an unregistered, beat-up trash bucket of a car with a suspended license and on his banking card.
"I'm absolutely fed up with going through life paycheck to paycheck! When will I finally succeed?"
You took part in those conversations, ain't it so?
Your success story is going to happen. Go and take a leap of faith in YOURSELF.
