Monday Murals: art in the strangest places
I want to thank those of you who were concerned about my recent illness. This is the first time in over six years I have missed a day posting. Today I'm once again joining Sami at Sami's Colourful World and her Monday Murals. Although I'm posting at my regular time, please be aware that Sami's mural linky won't go live until 10:01 a.m. my time.
I literally stumbled on this mural while looking for another one.
I simply had to get closer because I loved this abstract with what appears to be barns and silos. There might even be a Quonset hut.
I'm not sure I would want to sit on that "bench," though.
This swimming pool and mural are found at 2700 N Woodland, Wichita, Kansas (USA) in the Evergreen Park complex.
If you enjoy murals, please don't forget to visit Monday Murals at Sami's Colourful World.
My contribution to Monday Murals will be on hiatus the entire month of February. However, I will be back with new murals on March 8.

That's an interesting mural, lovely colours, too, but a very strange bench! Have a nice day, Valerie
love this one! don't know how you find so many -but then it's not a big thing over here.
This is a brilliant (in every way) mural! What a find! Hugs,Chrisx
LOL, they even had some named after me?! ;-)
Thank you for the link, I sure had a chuckle here! I collapse after the snow hit me, also!
"...rare due to their fragility." Hmmm... don´t get too personal, huh ;-)
Sorry, but you made me laugh, and yes, this is a great mural, very "modern", yet so old or cubism-istic.
Love the modern and colourful mural Elizabeth. What a great find.
Hope you're feeling much better and see you back with more murals in March.
Thanks for participating :)
This is an eye catching mural-love it
I hope each day you're getting a little better from the cold you had. (flu?) Lovely mural. I like the colors in it. And I'm glad you said that "thing" was a bench, because I had no idea what it was, and wondered why they place "it" in front of the mural.
I like this mural too. The colors are super and it is a cool collection of buildings. I'd say silos, barns and a quonset hut for sure. Happy Sunday! Hugs-Erika
Love the bright colors
I like that one, with its bright shining sun brightening up the scene. That bench looks like one of those intended to be useful enough to rest on by leaning against it but meant to be impossible to sleep on. That kind of design ruins it for everybody, imo :(
I'm glad you're better.
Great mural in bright colors! Kisses, Elizabeth!
just seen your comment on Kew post - no, the Temperate House is the one they renovated. No rust in there as it isn't humid. the Palm House is tropical temperate and misted regularly so IS humid all the time. x
Beautiful.
Abn amazing graphismfor this mural. I like it
The artist had a talent for abstraction of spaces and shapes and colors. Great find!

...you stumbled on a great one, unplanned things can be the best. The bright colors and cubism style are fabulous. Have a great week.
Love the shapes and the colours
I like the geometric colorful art! :)
Interesting but love the brightness and artwork.x
I really like this! So colorful!
Silos. Definitely. And is that a windmill in the upper left? I like the unique take on something I suspect is quite familiar in your world!
Maybe that bench is actually a sculpture! I like the graphic style of the mural a lot!
This one is amazing - wow!
