365 Day Art Challenge: Week 14

Here are my collages for Week 14.  This 365 something project was created in part and hosted by Hanna at i Hanna.  This entire month I am using nothing but scraps from one of my scrap piles I have collected.  I segregated them by color, and this month you will probably get tired of seeing so many of the same bits and pieces I have cut to make these collages.

In case you missed them, here are Week 13's cards.  As many of you probably know by now, we are back on schedule and I will continue to post every Monday morning for the previous week.  All of my collages are 4" X 4" (10,16 cm X 10,16 cm).

Grandma was barefoot

The Arch

Demagogue

The written word

Deutsche Post

The band played on

Subtle reminders
This is Day 9 of 22 and I created seven small collages using scraps of paper that are too small to be used for anything else.

Thank you so much for joining me today.  If you are playing in Hanna's 365 Something project, please let me know and I will be by to see what you are making.  Please let me know if you like any of these.  As always, I am very grateful for your continued support of my art.

In your collages I find many different scraps of paper and pieces from different countrys, even from Germany - the post stamp on the first collage and the "Deutsche Post" collage, where I also can see French words - so I say your collages are international :)
Beautiful recycling!
Happy Monday! Rike xx

A fun way to use up bits and pieces. My favorite is Grandma is barefoot. Thanks for starting my week off with a smile.

Lovely collages Elizabeth! I have a lot of catching up to do with your work. I’m going to go and see what else you’ve been up to. I’m glad you enjoyed my postcard.

They are all super collage pieces, some of the snippets you used had wonderful textured appearances. I couldn't pick a favourite today.

"The Written Word" strikes me. I like this whole concept, and it's hard to pick a favorite :)

I like these, especially the arch. You have a wonderful way with a neutral/brown palette.

Hard to pick a single favourite this week -
the written word and Deutsche Post

Your titles are works of art in themselves.
"Grandma was barefoot" attracted me right away, both for the title and the gorgeous purple shades, and then "Demagogue" because it is slightly wonky and captures the attention for longer. All of these were especially interesting because you used small bits of paper too.

These are so cool! They pull me in with them of travel, history, everything in layers of time and area.
