T Stands For gifts from my friend Chris

My dear friend Chris (sorry, links still don't work) whose blog can be found at http://pearshapedcrafting.blogspot.com/ sent me this awesomely awesome envelope.

Somehow I don't think the British PO got the hint.  I've never seen postmarks like that before.

Of course, I had to show the lovely stamping Chris did on the envelope, too.

Once open, I fell over in stunned silence (something quite unusual for me)

as I admired the lovely card made especially for Bleubeard and Squiggles.  Note also how the cups on the ATC glisten in this light.

I simply couldn't believe myself when I saw these dies.  I was not just stunned, but incredibly honored, especially after the paltry gift I sent Chris.

Not only did Bleubeard and Squiggles get a card, I got one, too.

Wonderful goodies, stamped images, dies, and die cuts, too!

Somehow the light didn't capture the beauty of this glittery piece the way it did when I photographed it earlier from high above the table.

And this gorgeous ATC is what I am using to qualify this as a T post today!

Last week, Eileen asked me if the back of my ATC was a stamp.  I explained mine was computer generated, but knowing Chris, whose middle name should be stamper (or stamping queen), I'm quite certain this is a stamp.

Now it's your turn to share your T entry this week.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink.  You may choose to share a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book as I did today.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or wow us with your photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card.  You might even draw an image on a used tea bag.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie, or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  And don't forget that the more unique and outside the box it is, the better we like it.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your T post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months or years ago, if you choose.

Hi Elizabeth to answer your question the glycerin soaps are easy to make and ready to use as soon as they set up. I found a supplier when I decided to make and sell soap on etsy a few years ago that sells all natural glycerin soap bases with lots of choices-lots of how to videos and free recipes I enjoyed the process but there are so many soapers I just didn't do well.
when I first retired here to the woods one of the things I wanted to do was make soap from scratch, I picked up a couple books on it and then I decided I really did not want to play with lye in the end-and the curing process plus I discovered from buying some homemade soaps my skin does not like the homemade lye soaps-tou harsh for my skin. I know all soaps have lye in it but the homemade soap didn't work for me.
I love aldi's gluten free items and the price is soooo much better too. they carry bread and flour tortillas even they have allot of choices for gluten free.their brownie mix is really good.
I started canning when I was a little girl helping my Mom-I have always canned every year and I enjoy doing it--I love making things in my kitchen and the canning brings me back to my ancestors too love that

Wow! Such happy mail! I love the stamped/drawn envelope with the beautiful stamps. I think all the mail goes through the machine nowadays and there was nobody to read that kind request.
The gifts are awesome and the Little bits and bobs always fun. The ATC is really lovely. With a very special one for Squiggles and Bleubears. Chris has really pulled out all the stops.
Have a great T-Day,
Lisca

Honestly, it's looks like the postie who canceled those stamps deliberately defaced three of the four. Must have been having a bad day. They're wonderful stamps - especially the Beatrix Potter cat. It's a good thing the postie couldn't touch the goodies inside. Oh my, what a treasure trove Chris sent you! Beautiful dies, lovely cards for all three members of your family, plus other crafty goodies. It must have felt like Christmas ;-)

Happy T-Day, Elizabeth, Bleubeard and Squiggles! Hugs, Eileen

Oh Elizabeth! I am so embarrassed yet at the same time so happy that you liked everything! Yes the ATC details is a stamp - I used to belong to an ATC swap group so I have a couple more! The elephant card was always intended for you even though it was a TIOT sample - I just thought it would appeal to you! As for the 'Boys' card it was using a new stamp that as soon as I saw it I thought of Bluebeard and Squiggles! I am hoping to use as an Anniversary card soon! I still don't think my gifts can match those beautiful papers - at the moment they are wishing strokable (Very gently) distance in my craft room! Happy T Day, Big hugs, Chrisxx ps Trust the PO to mess things up…STILL!!! Better than last time though! xx

Thanks for warm welcome back, seems like ages since I've been to tea.

Whoa -- I have never seen postmarks like those either -- but they are better than the black Sharpie marks my stamps always seem to get.
