May's calendar complete, June ready to go, and my first ICAD
Yesterday I shared my ARTifacts calendar for May. Here is my laughable calendar I've been sharing with you since 2011.
I started the month on a sad note and felt the things I wrote were too personal to share. Thus I blocked them with sticky notes and washi tape. The rest of my boring life you can read, if you choose. Again, I simply can't seem to get interested in decorating these pages.
Perhaps I'll take time to do a better job in June, which is ready to be written in.
I am once again joining this fun 61 day project, hosted by Daisy Yellow, and wanted to share my first ICAD. This will be my fifth year. If you want to see the cards I've made in previous years, just go to my Previous Collaborations which is found under Bleubeard's lovely face at the top of the page.
However, I will be sharing the remainder each week every Monday morning, with the final card and wrap up on July 31.
I wanted to show that although I will join the ICAD movement, I will not be following the optional prompts, nor will I be joining the Facebook or any other social media site, since I am strickly a blogger. Therefore, I will be making art my way only.
Thanks for joining me today as I share my very bland and mundane calendar and my first ICAD for 2017.

Hope you will have more happy things to report in this month's calendar. Have fun with your ICADS. Hugs, Valerie
I'm looking forward to seeing your ICADs again this year Elizabeth. Although I do like to play along with the group on FaceBook, like you I don't try to follow along with the prompts. Every once in awhile I happen to have one that fits, but it's usually an accident. :)
I wish you a happier month Elizabeth and look forward to seeing your various ventures and makes.
Happy June
Love Chrissie xx
I do love seeing your calendars - especially when you start the month with your stamped teacups - I know your heart can't have been in it last month but look forward to seeing what little additions you make! Looking forward to seeing your ICADs - was tempted, especially when so much has been on Instagram but have to confess to not wanting to set myself up for more than I can reliably take on. I think I would have been tempted more if it was a blog thing too. Big hugs to you and 'the boys', Chrisx
Your calendar is fun to read and look at. Thanks for enabling the nosy. (-;
Your off to a great start with the ICAD challenge. When I participated, I didn't always use the prompts as sometimes they just didn't inspire or speak to me. Looking forward to seeing more ICADs
Your calendars blow my mind! What a great feeling to see this and recognize all you've done over the past month!
You're very organized writing everything in your calendar. Hopefully June will be more pleasant than the month of May was.
Have a lovely day Elizabeth.
Thank you for sharing your calendar page for May, it must have been a difficult month for you.
I do hope June will be a better one and I really like your first message to yourself.

frank lee...we think joon furst lookz prette good !!!! ♥♥♥☺☺
Enjoy the journey through the icad world. I did it once, but am not good at the daily have to thing, and I'm making for the art fair in Sept, so have barely time to lurk around. I've been two weeks away so have lots of catching up to do. xox
I loved your index cards last year, and so I look forward to this year. Nice start. I love how organized you stay with your calendar too. You don't think its that creative but you do such a good job with outlining your blog posts and the adventures in your life. :) Thinking about you and hope you have a really great June. Hugs-Erika
I sense that you are going through a highly transformational period and I for one stand by you no matter what happens or where it leads you, much love to you, Dr. E! X
All ready for this new month. I hope it will be a happy, productive one. :)
Hi Elizabeth, so glad you dropped by-not familiar with icad movement will look into that-haven't done much really with a calender for years-except to buy ones I love lol have fun making your art hugs Kathy
I am really looking forward to seeing your ICADS!
It wasn't a very nice month - hope the next calender month's will be filled with just HAPPY things for you!
I think most of us feel as if we have boring lives. Your calendar page more like a diary. I am not familiar with the ICAD movement. Can you explain more?
