T Stands For ValenTines

This is what I would call a red letter day!

It is filled with love, red, and Valentines.  This Valentine is from my friend Sally.

I didn't realize how many red candles I had until I started looking around my house.

But what I'm most proud of are what my internet friends sent.  On the left is a postcard from Linda at heARTfully Inspired and on the right is the beautiful card

sent to me by Patty at Magpie's Nest.

The postcard is a genuine gem, and fits in so nicely with today's Valentine related post.  And look at the incredibly wonderful transparencies Linda sent, too.

I'd love to make backgrounds as beautiful as Linda did this one.

And look at that fantastic stitching, too.

Linda was so very, very generous with the gifts she sent.

I was truly impressed and felt honored.  Thank you Linda and Patty for making this a red letter day.
But we can't forget this is T day, and my red letter day is extended to my drink of Sparkling Ice (raspberry) that I'll be drinking in a red glass.

Now it's your turn to share a drink related post.  The rules are extremely simple.  Your drink related post may be anything from a photo of a glass, cup, or mug, to an actual drink, or even a sketch or a digital, hybrid, or traditional page in your scrapbook, art journal, or altered book.  Maybe you'd prefer to share a tag, or photography.  You might choose a postcard or decorated card, like the ones I received.  Or perhaps you prefer to review a place you visited, a movie or book.  It makes no difference as long as it's drink related.  Please tie it back here, and please link only to your post, not your entire blog.  When you link, Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.   Bleubeard would also like to remind you that your photos may be taken any time, even months ago, if you choose.

What a special day, red letter day, this is for you. It is amazing the connection you built from the virtual world here into the real world and are connecting IRL with fellow artists. Just love it.
Unfortunately I cannot link up as I don't have drink related post up (just some macro icy shots) and David wasn't quite ready to publish another Robot Apocalypse part - next week. Enjoy your goodies! :)

In comments to Let's Art Journal, you said you couldn't find Jasmine tea with flowers. You might want to try Tealuxe a tea purveyor located in Harvard Sq. I've bought teas online from them. Wonderful service. Did a search and found they have 3 Jasmine tea varieties. http://www.tealuxe.com/component/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,1/keyword,jasmine+flower/Search,Search/page,shop.browse/vmcchk,1/

What lovely snail mail Valentines you received from your internet friends! Well-deserved - you do so much for all of us. Thank you for everything and Happy Valentine's, Elizabeth!

P.S. How do you use the transparencies? For image transfers? They look lovely and I hope to see them in future posts ;-)

How sweet! I was toatlly MIA all week. Mr. G was on vacation...well was actually on jury duty so he took vacation. Never had to actually report though. Anyway...weird week for me.
Jessa loves those ICE drinks...I just have to be careful not to buy the ones with red#40...she's allergic. That darn red#40 is in so much stuff...even medicine!!
