January complete and February ready in my never ending calendar
I still can't scan anything, so today I'm sharing photos of my completed January calendar.
I took these photos about two hours ago, and have just barely made it in time to post them.
I spent the rest of the time looking for my 2017 file. The thing is, for the first year EVER, I had created all the calendar pages back in December, 2016. Then I scanned all the pages.
I know because I shared this scan I took back at the end of December. However, the 2017 file is NOWHERE to be found, now. It is lost, and so are all my scanned months. That is another reason I am just now getting this post finished. I've looked EVERYWHERE for the file, but it is definitely gone.
Also, for the first time ever, I started decorating my February page, thinking it would be a surprise when you saw it completed. So that's what happens when you store art off site. Sometimes, some files get lost.
Thanks for joining me today. I am always grateful that you come to laugh at my ridiculous calendar that is always boring, and never beautifully decorated like many of my fellow artists' calendars. At least your comments will take my mind off the lost file. I keep wondering what else I lost while trying to move files off site.
And please don't forget to dig up your Second on the 2nd post.

Sorry you're having problems finding stuff, it's hard when things disappear. Your new calendar looks good, I always love those cups....Beautiful project. Have a great month. Hugs, Valerie
I never laugh at your calender pages - I adore that you keep this so constantly over the years! Maybe you can find the folder again.. I often have problems to find my files - but that's normal since I am too sloppy - I am sure you will get them back. At least I hope so for you!
Happy start of the new month Elizabeth!
Great to decorate the pages more ... that looks so nice with that little elemnts so far!

What a bust calendar you had and you are so good at filling them in.
I know how you feel about not being able to find stuff -I keep trying to sort things out in files and end up in a bigger mess. I am sure some things have been passed from computer to computer since 1990.
Love Chrissie xx
Sorry meant busy calendar. I blame all this rain lol
Love Chrissie xx
Rabbit, rabbit. White Rabbit. Supposedly, something said on the first of the month. Your calendar pages made me smile. I like the stickers and the notes. I see you're ready for Super Bowl Sunday and gearing up for March Madness. I'm not that creative with my calendar. Because of being buried by paper in a dollhouse, several years ago, I went digital with my calendar. I use Cozi. My Good Things used to be in a book journal form, but that has since moved to Evernote. I do have a 2 white board calendars, a this month and next month but pay little attention to it now that I've moved to Cozi.
Oh, and I hope your files turn up
I love the the date that says boring stuff. I seem to have too many of those days. :) I can't believe we're already into February-although I will admit the beginning of January seems a long time ago. Hope Feb. is a great month for you. Happy February. Hugs-Erika
I love seeing your calendar pages Elizabeth. The stickers and bits of decoration add sparkle and fun. I love the one Sunday you spent mostly in bed with Squiggles to snuggle-sounds like a wonderful way to spend what's supposed to be a day of rest anyway:)
Your calendars always make me smile, Elizabeth. They're just fun!
Thanks for your comment on my Rockwell post. Yes, you'd love this exhibit. The work is wonderful -- I always loved the calendars and magazine covers but up close, big and inches away it really takes my breath away. Rick says the three things that have tripped the scouts up in the past are the three G's -- God, Gays, and Girls. He's right. I don't think the president can fire the boy scout leader but they can sure make it miserable for them... and everyone else.
the link is a 404 not found because, I was up at the crack of stupid this morning. Couldn't sleep. Decided rather than be unproductive lying in bed, I'd get up and be unproductive at the computer. I was scheduling a future blog post, thought I had scheduled date and time, but entered instead. Realized I had messed up. Deleted the post. The feed goes out, but doesn't change. So the moral of the story is, never compute while sleep deprived
I love your calendar pages. They're like a mini-journal.
Your file is laying on a sunny beach somewhere with my little ink pad and small scissors!
It should all be so much less complicated, but it never seems to be. Good luck finding some of the lost. My planner has stickers, and I've not used even a one, just pencil scratchings everywhere. Maybe some day I will go back in and turn it into a journal after it's complete and paint over everything. xox
Its super to see your busy January. I did get mine filled in as well, but not so detailed as yours seems to be. Hope your lost file turns up.
Yvonne xx
:) :)
At the risk of repeating myself - I love how you add things to your pages! I have just started doing this in my small planner diary (it stays by my chair at all times so I can't miss anything I should be doing and it also means I can doodle, use tapes or stickers when I feel like it as I also have a little bag of those too!!) Hugs, Chrisx
