Happy Chinese New Year

I received this wonderful Chinese New Year tip-in from my friend Dianne at Art Beneath the Cottonwoods.   I thought I would share it with you

as we rush to welcome Chinese New Year, 2017.

I love all the shimmer and sparkle of the card, and adore the cat envelope she sent it in.

Her rooster is hand drawn and colored.  It is out of this world.

Thank you Dianne for sending this beautiful tip-in that has so much gold shimmer, I may never put it away.

Whether you celebrate it or not, have a lovely Chinese New Year and thanks for stopping by today.

Wow, what a gorgeous rooster card and envelope. Diannes's painting is always first-class, and this is no exception. I'm sitting here watching the sunrise and it's sooooooooooo beautiful. Have a great day Elizabeth! Hugs, Valerie

I love roosters! although I was born in the year of the dragon ... In answer to your question on my blog, I use tube watercolours (Sennelier), as they are quicker to get going on and I don't have a lot of patience! Thank you for your previous post on Holocaust Remembrance Day, something that should never ever be forgotten. Happy Rooster Day!
