I'M BACK and a sneak peek

I promise to visit everyone and catch up on all the happenings in YOUR lives.  But first, I want to thank each of you for visiting and your kindness while I was offline.  The repair person from AT&T said the problem was at the pole, which is out back of my house.  I'll take a photo of it one of these days, but right now, I want to catch up with YOU!!

I told you I was tired of pink (not a color I really like anyway).  This is for Dianne in our 6 player International Swap and her theme is words and numbers in the vein of Alphabetica.  This was the first page I created, because I know how much Dianne likes fabric (and PINK).  I dyed the lace, seam binding, and fabric using Staz-on reinkers and rubbing alcohol.  I created the background on a 12" X 12" sheet of heavy scrapbook paper, then cut it to 8.5" X 11" and folded it in half to fit her requirement of 5.5" X 8.5".  Once both sides were created, I sewed the folded ends together.

Thanks to each and everyone again who has been so kind to me while I was offline (for what seemed like FOREVER).  I'll be by to visit tonight.

I love that you added those splashes of other colors, especially the orange. Its a color combo that I think works really well together, and takes a bit of the edge off of pink. Glad you're back online. :) Hugs-Erika
