Here are my ICADs for the second week in June.
"Things aren't always" (June 6, 2016). The tape is supposed to be double stick, but it isn't. The flip-flops and other beach scene goodies in the picture are actually cookies and cupcakes.

(June 12, 2016)I felt like this week's ICADs were a bit lacking, but I spent so much time on my second Thursday tutorial this past week, I had very little time for much else. Speaking of that tutorial, you might recognize several of these are "rejects" or left over from said tutorial.
As always, I appreciate the time you took to visit, because this is the only place you will see these ICADs.

What fun cards again Elizabeth! I love the fractured heart especially - that stitching really grabs me! I like the top one too, and you definitely fooled me with the cookies (and I'm sorry you got fooled by your tape - oh well you'll have something to wrap presents with! I have actually had to use double stick tape for that because it's often the only tape I have on hand - it doesn't work that well! ).

You have a great sense of understatement and symbolism on these cards Elizabeth. How do you think of this? I really enjoyed this set as much as your last set. I brought some cards home from work, and opened them up to play with some, and they were so thin and flimsy, I guess I need to buy some. Because I want to try this. Not that mine will come out as good as yours. Hope it was a good weekend.
I love this card set. Each one has a different feel to it and you manage to use up some of your decorative scissor pieces too.. Great job x

Your ICADs may be using leftovers but Oh what leftovers! Clearly a case of "It ain't what you do it's the way that you do it!" I love the fractured heart and those cookies look good too!! I must apologise for this catch up session - I had no idea that a poor internet connection would put me so far behind! Fractured He♥rt and Lost Lake Alaska spoke to me especially in their simplicity and message.
I went to our local paper shoppe the other day and forgot I needed double stick tape hah that was the thing I went for. Guess that means I'll have to go back oh oh!

you really know how to add magic onto these small substrates-I really love their sweet simplicity and compositions along with thoughtful words.
You may say left overs, but these cards all look fantastic, every one is so interesting to look at.
