ICADs for week 1

This first week is a short one, with only Days 2 through 5.  As promised, I will post a week's worth of ICADs every Sunday through July 31.  Without further ado, here are the Index Cards I created each day.

"Love is on the line."   (June 2, 2016)

"Hindsight is always 20/20." (June 3, 2016)

"Literary Arts." (June 4, 2016)

"Love letter straight from the heart." (June 5, 2016)

You will notice I am not using my watermark on these.  I see no reason to, since both Bleubeard's and my name are on them each day.  It's the one time I seem to remember to sign my work.

All materials are left over from various pages I have created this past month, or postage stamp remnants I used to send packages to others.

Thank you for joining me for this first week of ICADs.  Your support of my art always makes me smile.

I admire folks who can accomplish a daily challenge. The variety of work and ideas through the month is something I've noticed when you've done this challenge before. I might could do one a week. Maybe lol But probably not ;)

These are very clever. I love using hearts and you really put them in some thought provoking arrangements. I love art when there is some intelligence behind it, in some way shape or form. (Though I think I go for more pretty most of the time since after work I am rather brain dead some days.) Since it is raining today I am planning on some art fun. :) So I will mention the sunburn piece to my page yesterday was not me but my hubby. He applied some sunscreen rather haphazardly, so the results were a mosaic sunburn of pretty epic proportions and some very white skin where the sunscreen was. Funny now, but for him, not so much then. I love remembering the little stories from an adventure. Hope you have a great sunny and dry Sunday. Enjoy-Erika

This are very clever and beautiful made heart pieces...I adore the stitching and I see that you use more of your wonderful handwriting now... you know that the only person that don't like your handwriting is you!
Happy Sunday Elizabeth!

Cute! I always enjoy seeing what anyone does with sewing on paper but have never tried it. Your icads are really cute! :)

These are really lovely, they are so light. I like the way you are using the heart motif, the stitching and the minimalist colours combinations. Hard to chose a favourite, maybe the last one because of the words and the very clear design.

Elizabeth, I'm so glad you're doing ICAD again this year and I love the cards you made for the first short week! The colours and stitching are just lovely, and I wonder if you're going to be doing a theme for the whole sixty one days?! I' look forward to finding out.
