Sit, stay, chill

I'm trying to redeem myself for what I thought was the rather bad entry I posted yesterday at Art Journal Journey where our host Chrissie chose "Winter Wonderland" as the theme for January.

Here is today's entry I created in my Coll-AH-ge Too altered book.  I used part of a postcard, some red copier paper left over from a previous project, ransom letters cut from various magazines, and a piece of leftover painted card stock.  The inspiration for this piece came from the word "chill" I found in a magazine and knew I had to use it.

Please join me, along with our host Chrissie, at  Art Journal Journey where "Winter Wonderland" is the theme for January.   And thanks as always for your very generous support of my art.

What a gorgeous journal page Elizabeth, love the warm colours and that puppy is adorable. My dogs always wore scarves or ribbons, too. Have a good start in the new week, hugs, Valerie

Such a lovely spread with this cute little Labrador !
I like the word chill as well. I didn't even know this word till two years ago or so - it got trendy here even in german language - the young people love to : chill -
When I scolded my daughter she always reassured me with :
Chill Mama!
Thank you very much for another lovely idea and spread for ART JOURNAL JOURNEY Elizabeth!
Have a good new week!
We get thaw after some very cold and snowy days!

What a cute cute puppy! I bet he LOVES the cold and the snow. And thanks for watching the game-even though the Pats and Bronco game was good- for us fans it is still a bit of a let down, although I hate to say this, even thought the Pats held their own the Broncos were a little bit better. Yup, not the super bowl, the animal bowl. Have you ever seen the Puppy bowl they play on Animal Planet before the super bowl? All these puppies playing on a carpet football field-your guy from your altered book would fit right in. Hope your week starts off in a good way. Hugs!

You do have original ideas, Elizabeth. I like the sweet doggie and the "ransom" letters instructions. I don't think he is going to listen, he looks as if he is going to play in the snow.

You can just sense that puppy is waiting for the signal to take off. This is really adorable!

The puppy looks so sweet in his warm scarf, its a fantastic page and goes well with those words. Bet he is waiting patiently to be told to go and play.
