Discover

It's once again time to join Valerie our host this month for Art Journal Journey's challenge, collage with journaling.

I chose several disparate images and threw them together in added them to my Coll-AH-ge Too altered book.

Besides my altered book, which was the substrate, I included various magazine images, card stock left over from previous art, a calendar page from a previous year, and two painted hearts.

Thanks for visiting this Monday morning, and I hope to see you at Art Journal Journey.

This is fabulous, love those hands, and the tassels, with the hearts together they make for a surprising and lively page. Thanks again for joining us at Art Journal Journey, have a great day, hugs, Valerie

I really like this: the jewellery on the inflated surgical gloves (aren´t they?), the dipped string tassels, the blue hearts. Maybe it´s that October is my birthday month that this speaks to me. Also, I appreciate how non-Christmassy it is, that whole thing can get a bit much in December. I have to say, this whole collage business you are doing is drilling a hole in my brain; I really need to get out of a rut with my drawing. We´ll see where it goes... :-)

This is a wonderful spread Elizabeth! I don't know why exactly but it makes me happy - the colors and forms and composition, all together speeks to me!
Thank you for another fab entry to Art Journal Journey dear Elizabeth and a good week ahead!

I get the feeling you had fun creating this page, in any case it was fun to look at. I enjoyed the previous page as well. I'm looking for a new challenge site to begin the new year. I've created so little art these past few months I really need the "nudge" to get back in the swing of things. I'm going to check the sites you mention.
