T Stands For Pumpkin Bread and Tea

When asked what I associate with autumn food and drink, I immediately thought of pumpkin bread.

So I was off to make some Jasmine tea that is stored in this fun oriental inspired tin.  I added lemon and squeezed.

I am NOT much of a baker anymore, but decided I would give this recipe a try.  I can't believe the one loaf took four eggs, but it was SO moist, these two slices almost didn't make their way to the plate intact.  The extra piece is for you.

Now at least, I can say I've fulfilled my desire for pumpkin bread.  I may make another loaf to drink with cocoa or cider, which I consider more traditional autumn drinks.

Now it's your turn to share your favorite drink related post with us for T this Tuesday.  It can be anything, as long as there is something you can relate back to a drink, a cup, mug, coffee or tea pot, painting, sketch, or other artwork whether traditional, hybrid, or digital.  Maybe you would prefer to share a book you've read or a movie you've seen that relates to a drink.  Maybe a postcard or scrapbook page is more to your liking.  Or maybe you shot some lovely photos while you were out and about.  Regardless, please share your link below, and Bleubeard, the T gang, and I will be by to visit.

Bleubeard reminds you that your photos can be taken anytime, not just on Tuesday.  Squiggles has gone back into hiding, but really enjoyed being the center of attention last week!  Please be like Bleubeard and join us, won't you?

Today is Day 3 of AEDM and I created our weekly T Stands For Tuesday link-up party and baked a loaf of pumpkin bread to eat while I sipped my lemon infused jasmine tea.

I have a recipe but i haven't made it in recent years because it can be so fickle... sometimes it turns out wonderful and others i just cannot seem to get the center done... It is a quick bread and i think sometimes i over mix it... Thank you so much for hosting Tea Tuesday Elizabeth. I look forward to it every week. Hugs! deb

I've been seeing post on Pumpkin Bread in lots of places lately and they all have me very hungry for it. I've tried not to make it because I know I'll devour the loaf in no time flat and I've already gained too much weight this year. I also know I will break down and make some soon. Your's looks very very good ♥

Your pumpkin bread looks absolutely delicious and jasmine tea is tasty, too. But for me I think of zucchini bread in the fall...and hot chocolates with whipped cream--LOL! Happy T-Day! :)

Hello again, just wanted to stop and say thank you for your comment. I was so tickled to see those creamers, perfect for T day. The store was so cute and fun to walk through. Lots of shoppers though, I didn't expect that. The food samples were everywhere and Rich kept laughing at me trying them all. He tried only one, a pepper one that was way hotter then he thought it would be, lol.

I may not be around for next T day, I babysit that day and the next one which makes it hard to visit everyone and then I pack again for my next retreat, might just do one long catch up post when I come back from that retreat. Enjoy the weather and your week.

I really hoped to get to yours for T but after an outing to the cinema to see the new James Bond movie then off to see my eldest son 's ex partner for my hair cut and shopping on the way home it just got too late! Your pumpkin bread looks delicious - we don't have many pumpkin recipes in the UK although plenty of pumpkins in the supermarkets for Halloween! Chrisx
