Completed heart assemblages

I've been trying to get some Christmas gifts ready, but have been distracted by Art Every Day Month or AEDM.  I realized I had some half made gifts, and they only needed to be finished.  That put me in the mood to finish these assemblages that I started last month in time for Thanksgiving.  I also wanted them out of my craft room and ready to be turned into Christmas gifts.

Since my crop-a-dile was safely home, I was ready to finish them.

Adding wire is hard for me, since I have limited pinch grip.

Originally I had planned to wire all of these assemblages into a single length, then decided they didn't look good no matter what order I placed them in.  Unfortunately, I had not made beads to go on individual wires, so I made a few for now (out of polymer clay), and a couple more in case I decided to create more of these.  So with the help of my crop-a-dile and some needle nose pliers, I can finally call these completed and ready to wrap as Christmas gifts.

In case you missed the original post, I cut squares of corrugated cardboard, painted them four different colors, backed them with heavy card stock, then attached polymer clay hearts and wings to burlap and the cardboard assembly.

Today was Day 25 of AEDM and I completed another wire and bead project.  Thank you for your continued visits and support of my art.  It is greatly appreciated.

These are very pretty, love the matching hearts and beads from clay. These will make wonderful presents. Great idea! My crop-a-dile never leaves my kitchen, I like to have it by my side when I work. Have a lovely day Sweetie, and look after yourself! Hugs, Valerie

These are fun, colorful little gift ideas! Isn't it nice when you find something that you started, but it just needs a little extra attention to finish?

at first glance I thought it was the world you had on your hearts.

Maybe we should create billions of them and dump them over all war faring nations :)
