WOYWW 315: the one where she gets even more happy mail
Spending time with Julia at Stamping Ground has even more perks than simply showing off a very dirty desk or worktable.
I say that because I won Judy's giveaway she had a few weeks ago. I went ga-ga over the beautiful pieces I had won, and looked forward to seeing them in person, and not just on my computer screen.
It took what seemed like an hour to get into the package, since I didn't want to ruin all that glitzy tissue paper. I was still working on opening the package when I decided to show my progress.
AH, finally. I was now able to see all these incredible goodies I had won. As a wanna-be fabric artist myself, I was so, so inspired by these gorgeous pieces. Each was perfect and beautifully detailed. Thank you beyond belief, Judy. The tags and the pouch are simply gorgeous.
I received both gifts the same day (Monday), and was so excited, because this one was from Kerry my PIF partner.
I should have known something was up when I shook the package before I opened it. Not sure why this photo appears so horribly out of focus, but it appears to be the one I saved before I deleted the rest. The main thing was, there were all sorts of teeny tiny beads, sequins, little bits of cut painted papers, teeny tiny beads, tags, teeny tiny beads, and did I mention teeny tiny beads? Took me forever and a month to clean them up off my table and floor. And it wasn't easy because my fingers don't bend or have pinch grip like normal hands.
Seems I didn't get all the beads and sequins, did I? However, I put everything else away before I opened the gorgeous napkin that held my ATC.
Look closely, and you'll see why I KNOW Kerry created this one just for me! Isn't it adorable? Yes, that's a teeny tiny rocking horse attached to it. How perfect is that? Thank you beyond belief, dear friend. You have truly made my week! And of course, I simply ADORE your wonky sewing, too.
If coming from Julia's please leave your number. I won't be playing next week, but I'll be back the week after. Thanks for your lovely comments, even though I can't leave them and return the favor on some blogs.

That is one happy package, indeed! I rarely (never, I mean) get anything I didn't first pay for, but those are good, too. I just realized there is not enough pink in my life...
Happy mail indeed - I swapped with Kerry too and got similar (although not as many) "bits" in my envelope too, I think I'm still finding them on the floor (grin) Happy WOYWW Helen 2
You got some beautiful pieces in the mail. I especially like the ATC by Kerry, with the sweet little rocking horse for your collection. Happy WOYWW! #11

Well, that is the best post to have. Two wonderful packages in one week. Someone is looking out for you, well done on your prize and your PIF.
You will be able to put all those bits to some good use I am sure and look how you have additions to your rocking horse collection too. Brill!
Hugs to you and Bleubeard.

What lovely mail you've got. And that atc is truly adorable!
How gorgeous is that ATC? And so personal to you too...that makes it even more special. What wonderful packages you received, happy mail really does lift the spirits, doesn't it? I did laugh at the teeny tiny beads though :-). Only because I've spilled little beads more times than I'd care to mention.
Hope you and Bleubeard are both keeping well and happy :-)
Hugs, LLJ 8 xxx
Hi Elizabeth, happy WOYWW and thanks for already visiting my desk. You are a lucky one this week, what fabulous parcels - just love Judy's handiwork, she is so clever. Seriously happy mail! It's all an absolute treat. Why, oh why, does other people's "stuff" always look so much better than mine? You could just sit and look at that collection for quite some time (after you pick up the beads)
YAY for happy mail :) your ATC has such amazing textures on it. loved the close up views a lot. ~Stacy #50

Oh such a lovely lot of goodies
What great stuff! Too bad about the beads and sequins. I hate it when they escape and run for cover. Have fun with all your goodies! Happy WOYWW!

Wonderful Elizabeth...you must be delighted.
Even though you pointedly did not ask I have my friend's Big Shot platform because at a recent crafting event another friend of ours was using my BS with her platform. Then she nicely picked all our stuff up for us putting things in our bags for us. I ended up with the one lady's BS platform and she got my dies. Luckily she has other platforms and I have other dies! Anyway, I sent my friend ransom notes on Facebook for her platform. The code word when we meet is "Tim Holtz stamps at midnight." Such mystery and intrigue! And of course the most mysterious part is why our friend used my machine but not my platforms--they were in the bag with the machine! Judy #55
Totally fabulous and wonderful parcels of pretty presents. The wee rocking horse is adorable.
If you have any blue tack, you could squish a blob of it onto the end of a pencil and use it to pick up those teeny tiny beads and sequins. Failing that, what about selotape or any sticky tape. Have fun playing and enjoying your goodies. {{Hugs}}
Happy mail! So wonderful receiving gifts wrapped with care and love. Those tags are simply amazing! I especially like the fringe at the bottom. Something I never thought of but truly adds a unique touch. Thank you so much for stopping by earlier. Diane #41
Oh Elizabeth, you certainly got some lovely mail! I keep seeing all the ATCs from the anniversary and I'm so jealous! I didn't get to join this year because I was travelling that whole day!
Happy WOYWW and thanks for dropping by!
Hugs, peggy aplSEEDS@4
It's always so exciting to get Happy mail, I also love to save the wrappings so have to unwrap slowly when I just want to tear into it to see what's inside.
So many goodies, and a beautiful ATC.
Happy WOYWW and thanks for your visit earlier

Fab happy mail and that ATC is stunning. just looked at your artwork on your latest post too - very clever! x jo
Great Happy Mail you have there! Beautiful things. And wonderful personalized ATC with the rocking horse. Oh, and cool red rocking horse on your desk. I know what you mean about fingers not agile enough to pick up beads. I am the same way. Thanks so much for stopping by earlier. I really appreciate it. #58
Oh, what fabulous Happy Mail! Judy's work is stunning! And that fabric ATC is so cute!
Have a good week.
I am so happy you love your ATC, I have had the rocking horse for some time and never used it as I kept thinking of you. I was so excited that you were my PIF partner, the minute I knew I had the rocking horse on my desk waiting to be added to the ATC. So sorry about the teeny tiny beads, I should have thought about putting them in a little bag lol. I completely missed this weeks WOYWW as I forgot I was out in the evening and didn't get to take a pic. Will be back next week so I can show the ATC's I received. Your other parcel looks totally stunning, they really are gorgeous. How exciting you got them on the same day. It was such a pleasure swapping with you again, and hopefully we can carry on the tradition and swap again next year PIF or not PIF. Happy Art :-) Kezzy xxx
Thanks for your visit. 😊 what treats for you in the mail! Fantastic. Love the little rocking horse. Have a crafty week!
You must have been so excited to open the mail and find such wonderful art and goodies.

What an exciting day - two happy mail posts, both at once! And the contents are just wonderful. It must have felt like Christmas and a birthday, both together!
BTW, you could try one of these, to pick up tiny things: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pinflair-Sticky-Pick-Up-Tool/dp/B007G6MXWO
... or there's always a strip of sellotape, held in each hand and lowered onto the little items, so they just stick and you can flick them off, into a container.
Thank you for visiting me at LizzieMade blog. I may just have a "how I did the painted feathers" post!
Ooh lucky you, some fabulous goodies
Kyla :-)
What a delight, my friend!Beautiful goodies!
