I'm gone!
Yes, I'm not here. I'm out of town. This is Memorial Day weekend, and I decided to visit my friend Kathy before driving a bit further north where I will be putting flowers on my Grandparents graves. I also plan to enjoy the next three days with her, sewing, and making lots of covers for my scrappy journals .
In the meantime, here are photos after the near flood we had two days ago. The entire street was filled with water. We had 3.59 inches in a single day (24 hour period).
Thankfully, I won't have to mow until I get back late Tuesday.
And look at the flowers that have bloomed in just a few days after I showed the flower bed last week.
The bad news is, it looks like sweeping didn't help much.
I'll be back before you know it, though. Sorry I won't be able to leave you a comment if you visit, but I'll visit as soon as I'm home.

Have a wonderful time!
Catch you when you're back. The garden is looking good. xox
This looks such a peaceful spot! I am having to leave our caravan garden for 3 weeks - not being mean, but I hope it rains some days in England while we are away!! Our warden has promised that if there is a drought she will water the more delicate ones on the decking!! Chrisx
