Friday Smiles # 112:Twins

I realize it's been awhile, but I'm back, at least for this week.  However, this week, while visiting Annie at A Stitch in Time, I'm smiling for several reasons.  First, I've finished the Altered Playing Card challenge, and second I'm gearing up for April, when I share recycled projects from the first through the 22nd, which is bEARTHday.  I'm also smiling, because I'm seeing progress in my Kings and Queens altered book I'm making for my friend, but possibly the biggest smile this week is

I actually caught Bleubeard on camera. But that's only half the story.

You see, Annie is always showing photos of her twinnie munchkins.  Today, I'm showing photos of twins, too!

Granted, these twins don't exactly look the same, but they are friends I made while in grad school.  The twin on the right, Troy, is the one I was in school with.   The one on the left, Toby, got married and dropped out of college.  I met him through Troy and his (Toby's) wife.

I finally got both of them to smile,

while Bleubeard decided he wanted to sit on Troy's lap.

After Troy moved his chair back so we could talk at the table and enjoy a cup of hot tea, Bleubeard picked a spot and settled in.  Funny how Troy's jacket color changed when he moved to a sunny spot!

For once Bleubeard wasn't camera shy, but Squiggles refused to leave the safety of my office.
