February complete and March ready in my never ending calendar
Although I have been with Kate at The Kathryn Wheel for over four years, she no longer offers a link on her blog. I'm still playing along, but because I don't belong to Facebook or Flickr, this is NOW the only place you will see my monthly calendars. I'm fairly certain they won't be missed, though, because I always felt like mine never lived up to the beauty and hard work put into these pages by others. And this year is even worse (or better from my standpoint). It's one thing when I lead a boring life, and another when I document it each day. That's why I'm not decorating as much as I've tried to in the past. BTW, it's obvious my scanner is still not working. I apologize for the wash out I got when I laid the pages under my OTT light in the office.
As promised, I only decorated the page after I knew what the important elements and events in my world were. You can see that hearts and basketballs were prominent. Ironically, I added the King and Queen before I ever THOUGHT of making my friend Kathy's Kings and Queens altered book.
March is ready to be filled in and will be decorated with a few goodies I find along the way.
Don't forget to look through your previous posts, because tomorrow is when you show your Second on the 2nd.
As always, thanks for visiting and leaving such lovely comments.

Like Susi, I ma mightily impressed that you have done this challenge for such a long time, and especially as you are continuing on with it too.
I look forward to your 2nd on the 2nd post :o))
I'm still continuing with my calendar too! Like you, I have very ordinary days with some lovely outings and it's good to look back on previous years! (as we get older even more so - or am I on my own here?)I love that you decorate yours by being prompted by an event! Photos of the caravan to come on my blog soon! Hugs, Chrisx
I'm glad you've you're continuing with the calendars regardless of linking options. I had enough after 12 months. :)
I've got my 2nd post all ready to go! Such fun picking and choosing what to re-share...
Respect for keeping up with Kate's challenge for four years!!! I managed year one with the Documented Life Project and a year with the Craft Barn's Q&L challenge. I like to vary how i learn however i REALLY enjoyed the Q&L challenge and miss it a lot, not interested in their new challenges as no inspiration for me there.
The DLP challenge was too much, trying to keep up every week was too stressful, enjoyable but stressful so decided not to join in this year.
Have lost momentum with my stash clear out but am hopeful will be back regularly crafting/blogging in April.
Keep up the great job you are doing!
