Back on September 25, Sally and I headed for Exploration Place. It was Senior Expo day and she could get me in as her caregiver.
While Sally checked out the services and products offered to seniors, I took advantage of the museum. While the senior specific areas were packed, none of the exhibits one would normally want to see were crowded at all. I started in the castle area, definitely designed with kids in mind. Then I worked my way to the aircraft area.
I love the bee dance and the plane I can fly myself.
Next it was off to Red Lobster, where I told Sally I was paying for our lunch because I knew exactly what I wanted.
Sally spent an inordinate amount of time reading the menu until she found scallops that were prepared several ways. Similar to my endless shrimp meal, but I got refills while she didn't. Oh yes, I made a HUGE pig of myself. Sometimes you just have to give in to your cravings.
Time spent with my T Stands For Tuesday group is never wasted, so please share what you are drinking today. It might be water like me, or it might be a lovely vignette, great scrapbook page, great art journal page, inspiring digital art, or something in between. Maybe you were out and about, or just have your feet up enjoying a cuppa'. Whichever, please share below and remember, Bleubeard will tell you your photos don't have to be taken on Tuesday to qualify.

Love the overload. It's my favorite way to travel!
I've said it before, but I dont care - you go to the most amazing places!! And I would loved to have joined you for that lunch, mmmmmmm MM! (hugs) :o) xo
Another interesting place..Thanks for sharing... Without all of the photo some of us would never know what these places are like :)
Well it looks like you had a wonderful time even if Sally was in a hurry...again.......... I sure do appreciate all the time it took to upload all those photos. I really enjoyed seeing it all. :) Hugs! deb
that looks like a great visit - love the photos. (I went to Kew on Saturday..)
I'm with Robyn, I like to travel vicariously! I also like how 'hands on' museums and exhibitions are.
Coffee at my lace, ready when you are.
What a interesting place! Great! Thank you for sharing this Elizabeth!
Have a nice T-Day and a big hug for Bleubeard as well!
What a fabulous day out. Specially since you went to Red Lobster. I went there in 1996 and loved the food. Good to hear it is still so good.
Can you believe that was the day we flew into US? No I can't either.
Sigh!
Hugs
xx
Looks like an interesting museum, things you can interact with are always a plus. Like Hettie, I've only been to Red Lobster once and it was years ago.

I love all your photos! It's like a mini-vacation! :)
Your photo collages are super Elizabeth and a very nice way to share pics from your day!
Exploration Place looks very interesting and situated beautifully on the river(s).
Glad you enjoyed your yummy lunch too.
Happy T Day to you...

That looks like a beautiful, clean museum! I really liked the collage photos!
I went to the endless shrimp fest at RL a few years ago for my birthday...the waiter brought up refills and then (quietly) told us to order more than we wanted and take it home! RL lost money that year, LOL!
Can't remember it I thanked you for the tip about the bubbled background!
I always love your museum visits, and the restaurants too~ I love shrimp & scallops! looks like a pleasant trip and can't wait for pics of the botanical gardens!
It seems I am not as prompt as others to the party, at #17...but it's only 10 am here! *sigh* I am just not an early riser! oh, how is Sally doing? recovering well I hope? off to visit everyone...happy T day dear Elizabeth!
Yum...shrimp scampi! Another great museum. You are definitely taking advantage of "Stay-cationing"
Happy Tuesday!
Happy T Day!! WOW, these are amazing pictures, you are so good at getting them wherever you go. Looks like a neat place to visit and Sam would love it here.
Your lunch pictures are making me VERY hungry. Rich and I are hoping to go there soon. He wants the endless shrimp too.
How fun for you and Sally to go on these outings together. Can't wait to see the Botanical pictures.
Thanks for the visit and comment, glad I could post this week. Rich was so surprised and happy about winning. He used to have yearly chili contests at his old job so it's been years. Everyone told me they loved it but I don't eat spicy foods so I will take their word for it. The baskets were all fun and creative.
How sweet that you can remember your dance too. I barely can except for the dress because my mom made it. She made most of our dresses and even our wedding dresses. The sewing gene didn't pass on to me or my sisters sadly.
Take dear friend and hope your enjoying some fall weather and colors.
I love a museum that will let children interact with the displays, instead of a KEEP HANDS OFF sign.
One of my favorites, for seafood, is the Red Lobster, so those pictures have made me in the "mood" for some seafood.
I always enjoy all your pictures, most people like to look into other's lives and places they live. We are all so different and from so many different places around the world, it's always interesting. Thanks for sharing
I'm guilty over overload almost every time--LOL! I really enjoy lots of pictures. Happy T-Day! :)
Wow! that looks like an ineteresting place to be. All that sea food looks yummy.
Have a lovely week
Susan
