Summertime Scavenger Hunt with the final seven photos. To see the first 14, please go here.
In order, they are:
1. A sign welcoming people to your home town (or a nearby town)
Technically, this doesn't welcome you to my city, but to a part of my city. It was the only sign I could find, even though I looked at all four city limits. I hoped it would work, since our nickname is River City.
4. A group of tourists
While out to lunch last week, I heard these people talking in a language other than English. I wasn't about to ask where they were from, but discretely took a photo of them.
My friend Sally said this statue looked like tourists pointing to a building, so I thought I would include it, too.
5. A rack of post cards
I
after looking up the definition of “rack” (1. a framework of bars, wires, or pegs on which articles are arranged or deposited)
From: Rinda’s 2014 Summertime Photography Scavenger Hunt: Part 1
Although, unlike Patty's, most of my postcards are commercial, there are two that I made myself among the menagerie.
6. An urban street scene
I showed an urban street scene in part 1, but this one is from my home town.
10. A photo bomb (someone found lurking in the background of photo; the lurker may have intended to disrupt the picture or may be doing it unintentionally, but the background lurker is a surprise to the photographer)
13. A sunrise
Not the best sunrise you will see, but I spent a long time trying to get this one. Add to that, the mosquitoes were out in full force that morning, and I have the bites to prove it, too. There are just too many trees in my neighborhood that face east. A sunset would have worked far better for me.
14. A parade
I borrowed this idea from others who used ducks, geese, and swans to show a parade. There were a lot of parade onlookers, too.
21. A photograph of you with something representing the season
You would think I would have cleaned up a bit for this selfie, but I had just mowed my yard and was all hot and sweaty as I watered my veggie garden. This was the best one of the four I took, Sorry, this is as close as you'll get to seeing me on the internet.
And just in case you thought one of these didn't meet expectations, here is
Alternate B: A birdhouse
Actually, it's two birdhouses, and they were taken at my friend Sally's house.
Thank you Rinda for hosting this fun challenge. Now that I have decent camera, I plan to play as long as you offer this yearly scavenger hunt. And thanks to each of you for joining me on this journey this year.

Wow Elizabeth! I am so impressed that you got these done! Such a fun thing to do - I was definitely too late to join in this time - next year maybe! Can you please e-mail me - address in my profile - would like to ask you something! Hugs, Chrisx
Nice group of photos. I like the statues as tourist and of course the parade one :) Have a great weekend ♥
PS You cheated on the selfie by the way...some day a photo of you will pop up :)
Excellent photos Elizabeth. You certainly got out and about to get them all. I only have my mobile phone for photo's, but it's better than nothing.
I like your photo-bomb, but you're not really visible and I think you're very brave to put even part of yourself 'out there' - I'd have used a magazin image or some other cheat, haha.
Have a lovely Sunday :D
ps - thank you for your comment on Wee Man's post, he said you "are funny for saying they are fun and useless facts", haha. :D
Ilove all of these E, although technically, despite your surprise, I don't think you reveal enough of yourself in the menu reflection for you to be photbombing! I love the photo of you too...for starts,I never imagined your hair wuld be bouncy and curly...so there's my surprise! I would also like to pint out (again, I'm sure) that you seem to live in a deserted town.....
Fun wrap up of your scavenger pictures E...
Reflection photos are fun...not sure I really see you though ;-)
and I am flattered that you liked my postcard rack idea...yours looks super and I especially like your handmade cards!
I have my Part 3 blog post to finish up my scavenger hunt this year...
We leave on Friday for a couple weeks at the beach so it's feeling like crunch time.

There's no doubt some things were hard to find. My worst was a juggler.
Great photos! I still haven't posted my end of summer wrap up on that one. Too dang busy I guess
We were in WI all weekend. Had a blast sans kids.
Looks like you've been having some fun with pictures : D.
