T meets Day 9 of 30 paintings

I created this piece early because I'll be linking to Leslie Saeta at Slices of Life  later, so the regular T crowd doesn't have to scroll down to find the T Stands for Tuesday post.

When I finished this piece, which was an accident looking for art to happen, I thought it looked like Oklahoma (a US state) with dyslexia.  Then I realized it looked like a tea pot with an infuser.

The size of this piece is 8" X 8" (20,32 cm X 20,32 cm) and I named it "Infused."

So that's what I'm serving for T this Tuesday, along with my favorite tea cup and saucer.

Show us what you're serving today, whether it's altered art, a scrapbook page, mixed media, your garden, pet, or favorite mug or cup.  Then link below and join the rest of the T Stands for Tuesday gang.  We'll be by as will Bleubeard, who is here to remind you that photos don't have to be taken on Tuesday.

And while I have you here, I want to let you know I'll be playing in
Seth Apter's Studio Table over at The Altered Page on Thursday, September 18.  He's taking a page out of my friend Julia's What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday (WOYWW) and asking us to bare our souls studio shots.  Since I'm in the throes of several challenges this month, I'll show my messes as they occur whatever mess is on my table at the time.  BTW, I'm never messy, because I have to keep everything clean in my small, small space.

I've just caught up - I knew I'd missed a lot so I started from where I left off - as i wanted to read your blog posts in chronological order - Elizabeth - you amaze me! Love the tea infuser - though not a tea drinker! Chrisx

I love the colors of your infused painting Elizabeth! Oh gosh you are more busy than I am ..lol! You are the Challenge Queen this month for sure! I feel with you, I have to keep everthing clean here too since cause I have no real studio .. ust working on my big kitchentable - most of my stuff is in the living room, but I guess that is a good thing- since as I always have to organize and keeping the space her in order I am always inspired too.
Happy T-Day dear Elizabeth!

Hello and Happy T Day! What a great painting again, I like the name of this one too. Are you putting these together in a book when done, can't remember if you mentioned it?
What a busy month you are having, that is good for you and for us since we get to see it.
Have fun!

I like that you've moved from expression only into some structure. Your subtle colours appeal to me, and I can certainly get the title.

Very creative and clever title too E!
I'm not sure anyone would be ready to see my work space...it is quite shocking LOL but I have so much fun there.
Wishing you and Bleubeard a Happy T Day.

I wanted to thank you for your lovely comment today. I wish we lived near each other because you would LOVE playing with the gelli plate-esp. with a friend:)You do need to take several hours to allow for lots of play-and I have discovered that if you really don't like how a print turns out, just keep using it and eventually it turns out into something brilliant!

Oklahoma with dyslexia lol Elizabeth you are funny! I love finding meanings or patterns from my paintings.
These 30 day challenges are quite stressful. I guess it is because I'm taking part in 2 at the same time. But still I'm enjoying each creative pieces I come up with but sadly I'm not getting enough time to comment on others art-:(
Have a great week
