So I started with a page dated September 11 from our local newspaper.
I thought I had named this "News that's fit to be print," but when I saw what I had written, I was shocked. I often say my mind thinks like a word processor, not in words or sentences, but in "type, review, and delete."
Of course, I had to go to the crossword section to find the week number.
The big story in the Arts and Entertainment section was about our need to secure funding for our zoo. It was accompanied by this artist's rendering.
A look at the answer to the day's crossword, and more on the elephant art exhibit
help make the page less single minded. I really liked Maise's take on reducing bullying, and that 67 Mustang caught my eye, too.
Thanks as always for visiting. Since I'm not on Facebook or Flickr, this is the only place you will see my interpretation of this week's prompt.

The Mustang caught my eye too! At that price it must be quite something! Chrisx
Well you certainly found some great newspaper bits to make this collage. Love all the elephants. xox
Wow, I don't think my local newspaper has anything nearly this interesting, and nothing in colour either. Great pages. Before I read your write-up I thought maybe this was from a vintage paper - at least until I saw the price on that Mustang! I like how you used the crossword answer too.
A fabulous take - I'm still behind :(
