Day 4 of 30 paintings in 30 days
I'm once again linking with Leslie Saeta's Slices of Life 30 paintings in 30 days project.
This painting took two days to complete mostly because of the drying time between layers. Don't you just love humidity?
The first layer was lavender and pearl white mixed together. Today I added the black acrylic, then sprayed areas with distilled water. I love how the paint moved around once the water was applied. I'm really happy with this piece.
I'm calling this one "Running in Circles."

Love humidity .. we are made of it - aren't we? so much water in our bodies!
And I love circles!
great painting Elizabeth!
Have a gerat day!
Very eye catching! Ugh, humidity.
I like this one, too. Very Zen feel to it.

Gorgeous colours! I love this title as it's exactly what I'm up to at the moment! Off to the hygienist then off to the caravan for the weekend, running around trying to get stuff done! May not be able to keep up for a few days but I am so impressed by what you are doing, Chrisxx
Running in circles--not always getting where we want to go, some starts and stops, but if we persevere, and keep going, we will get there. Okay, the humidity is getting to me! (Smile)
I read your comment about the 52 card challenge and agree totally with you. I'm taking a wait and see attitude and plan to use her tutorial/techniques to make each card my own. I am hoping that she encourages this and not rather straight copying since I'm not planning to buy any supplies if I don't need to.
Like this one a lot, like the way the paint bleeds, perfect title too.

I really like this, you've achieved a super blue surface.
Love your background color Elizabeth and anything with black on top always looks striking. xox
Cool piece. Running in circles...been there, done that and still doing so... Hugs from the FL Girls
All of your abstract art creations are great E!
You really have my wheels turning and I am dabbling a bit...
Extra kudos on coming up with names as well...

Simply stunning!
this is wonderful - it could easily be in a gallery somewhere.
Deep and meaningful...the circle. Looks like you are tapping into your inner self.
