I want to begin by saying I'm still making paintings each day, but from now through Saturday, they will be scheduled for 1:30 am. I must be up each morning at 6 am, which is counter to how I normally live. However, Leslie's posts don't go live until 2 am my time. That leaves me too little sleep in order to work a full day. Edit: The best laid plans didn't take into account the storm that has kept me awake so I can link up before I head to bed.
For day 24 of 30 paintings in 30 days, I'm once again linking (when I wake up) to Leslie Saeta at Slices of Life.
I'm really liking the effect I get with watercolors, although this one sort of pooled and puddled as it was drying. Call it my imagination in overdrive, or the fact I've been staring at it for so long, I'm calling it "Elephant Meets Alligators at Watering Hole." Once again, the size of this is 8" X 10" (20,32 cm X 25,4 cm).

perfect title Elizabeth and a yummie watercolorpiece at well... love the outcome here!
Love the colours Elizabeth. I am seeing, a gorilla. An anteater sitting on an elephant's trunk and an elephant having a sand bath. Hahaha - a pictorial 'word' search. Hope you aren't too tired to have a good day :o))
ps-thank you for your comment on my T post. The water isn't as discoloured as I'd feared it would be, but it tastes very yucky.
NICE colors and textures!
Great title! These abstracts certainly exercise the mind, don't they!
I doubt I will ever figure out why 3D doesn't transfer to 2D. When I was in high school, we took career aptitude tests that were supposed to tell you the kind of job you would be good at...well I scored high in "spatial relations". All I can say is that I definitely find it easier to create in 3D and I think am better at it. Did you happen to see my first mixed media challenge piece on The Mirror Crack'd?
these are MY colors.
just beautiful, E!
ps: i see the elephant and the alligators . . .
I can see several interesting friendly creatures here including the smiling fellow on the right and the little bird middle bottom. But the whole picture is terrific with your subtle and restricted use of colours.
Well, Ms. E this is a great one! Took me a sec. to find the elephant.....grin
I totally love the watercolor series you've got started.
Great name for tis painting too!
This is fabulous - great title too! 6 am get ups?………..…….noooooooo! Hugs, Chrisx
I can see that :) Nice colors and good flow.
Love these colours and the way the paint pooled in places.
