For our 23rd week at Journal 52, Chelle's prompt was Passion.
I started once again with a file folder cut in half lengthwise, then I added thinned green and periwinkle acrylic paint. If I got the paint too thick, I used a wet wipe to clean some away.
I used the water cup to add circles once the blue and green background was dry.
Then I added a few examples of my true passion. Of course, I'm not the best stamper in the world, and that is why I actually prefer stamps that are wooden backed.
I can't get my one set of clear acrylic stamps to stick to anything, even though I have washed them numerous times. So, hand stamping is just that. Since they won't stick to anything, I used my fingers to position each of the acrylic letters on the page.
I did the same with the week number.
Thankfully the hearts are ones I made from a styrofoam tray, and fit (with the help of a repositionable product called Wacky Tac) on the clear cover of my ink pad.
One final look at passion as I interpret it: rockers and hearts.
Thanks for visiting, because, as I've said in the past, I am not on any other social media site. I have enough trouble keeping blogger going, much less visiting those other places I don't believe add value to the art I make and share.

I tried to do the 52 challenge, but had to stop because of the lack of ideas to make with the prompts. Love your work of "Passion" . I am a beginner of everything art and trying to use things which are available mostly in the house. Thanks for sharing the "how to" of "Passion"
This is great Elizabeth! I like your hand carved heart stamp! And the great thing about this style of journally is the stamping doesn't need to be "Hallmark" perfect (actually looks better when it isn't). You always talk about your lack of skill stamping but I think you do a great job!
Thanks for dropping by my blog again today and all your lovely comments. The secret to my heart cards not getting "muddy" is that I let the red and turquoise paints dry between layers. When I added the turquoise to the Quinacridone Gold paint I intentionally did not wait for them to dry because I wanted the transition between the two to be blurry. Also I tend to use paints with quite a bit of translucency because I like the layers to show through.
I LOOOOVE this!! The colors, circles and those awesome hearts!! The stamping is good too!
Great page! I'm not too social myself and blogging keeps me busy and motivated enough. This month I'm trying to define my own passion so your post is a real treat and a confirmation as well. :)
This is lovely Elizabeth. Why am I not surprised to see your rocking horses featured?
Great stamps.

Love this page. Beautiful colours and I love the grungy circles. When my clear stamps lose their stick, I use a bit of double sided tape, or some temporary quilt basting spray to stick them.
You really showed where your heart is in this piece!
A fabulous page of glorious colour and, of course, your famous rocking horses and bunny. There is nothing wrong with your stamping! Of course the Wacky Tac could be used on the clear stamps to help them stick to your blocks or use a glue stick.
