It's time to show our monthly calendars that are hosted by Kate at The Kathryn Wheel.
February's mess is finally complete. It probably reads like a broken record of cold, snow, sub-freezing temps, snow, power outages, snow, frozen and broken pipes, and did I mention snow? To take my mind off snow, I spent three wonderful days in front of my TV, something I never do, watching the (USA) NBA All-Star Weekend. Die-hard basketball fans were treated to this annual event, just like football fans get their Super Bowl.
Tired of the mess I kept making with my handmade shimmering mists, I used old pigment ink pads to color my March calendar page. And because I made the boxes smaller, I now have room to play with some decorations throughout the month.
Don't forget to check out other calendar entries at Kate's. I was pleasantly surprised at how many joined in last month and hope to visit everyone this month. Here's hoping since March came in like a lion in my part of the world, spring will actually occur and March will go out like a lamb.

I don't know how you keep up with all these things. I wish I could keep a journal like this, but I always forget. Great pages
I see you are bringing in some Spring green for March. Well it's 8F here this morning, the robins are getting impatient for their worms....In like a lion. xox
Love this hope in your green! I can feel and hear the roar of March already! We're still in the arctic blast!
xo
My February as you know was much the same as yours. I like the optimism of your green page for March--even though I am sure you were thinking St. Patrick's Day--but Spring is still a way off here as the next round of up to 6" is coming tomorrow into Monday.
Stay safe and warm! Hi to Bleubeard!
your march calendar does look like spring! i do hope it's warmer by the end of this month. we've got a winter ice storm predicted for tomorrow night! i'm ready for a heat wave! lol
hear hear, out like a lamb...please! we'ce spent a couple hours in our back garden today, weak sunshine obliged is to survey broken fencing from the storms...and I tried to tidy some beds, but everything is so sodden, my Welles were causing squelch noises! love your bright and cheerful green calendar page, it speaks of spring and hope!
Oh your March looks very spring-hopeful!! ;)
Hello and happy March! Can't believe another month has passed us by. I'm only happy about it since we are getting closer to spring.
The February calendar is so pretty, those colors are amazing!! March is perfect with green, YAY!! Feels like spring already just looking at it. It just snowed last night and covered the green grass AGAIN! Thankfully I made it to the track yesterday even though it was cold. Whatever happens this month I will just be thankful. More warm cozy days inside crafting is good too.
I posted my HELLO MARCH list and shared some ATC on my blog, will share more on Tuesday too. I love getting the beautiful ATC in the mail and seeing them in person, so cool. Found some right here in OHIO, YAY!! One lady actually just had a altered book contest at her library, how cool is that!! Now they asked her to come and teach a class on ATC, guess she has done that in her past. How cool is that also! Sadly, she still lives too far away for me to make the drive.
Have a great day and see you on Tuesday. Stay warm and safe my friend!
Love the spring tone to the March spread. yep, pretty tired of the cold/ snow/ ice stuff myself. Of which we're in line for more today ::: sigh ::: I'm hiding in my studio all day!
As opposed to a separate journal, I am incorporating mine into my Documented Life project. Hope to have pics on my blog soon.
Creative Blessings!
Kelly
Love the bright ans springy color of your new calender page. So unlike the weather we have outside right now :( Spring will come ♥
The months go so fast around here I don't have time for a calendar. No wonder I'm in a constant mess.
Oh dear! The words that jump out - 'pipes freeze- no heat!' You have had a bad time! Spring is on it's way here and on your March page I see! Love those colours! Hope the worst is over for you! Chrisx
I used green on my calendar pages for March, too. I'm in Oklahoma and we've had way too many frozen days and nights! When it get -2F here, you know it cold in the upper regions! I have a girly at the end of my March page that says: Is it Spring yet? Can't wait! Happy journaling!
Hmmm.i think i left you a comment but its not here anymore...or else I tried and it got spit back out. Who knows. Anywho...I really like the randomness of the squares...some paper some not. :)
