Honoring tea and leaving home

This is a scheduled post, since I'm off spending time in another town with my dear friend Kathy, who doesn't mind having you see photos of her craft room and the messes we are probably making about now.  We've actually been busy crafting away since Thursday morning, and plan to do so through late Saturday.  Photos taken at her place will appear on this blog at some point.

Do you remember when I showed this image on Tuesday of this week?

Although it's not finished, here is what I've done so far.  I wasn't especially happy with the way the "tea" coming out of the pot buckled when it hit the cups, but there was nothing I could do.  I even used a gift card to try to spread the magazine image out, but I was afraid I'd break it if I pushed and pulled too hard.

Before I left for Kathy's,

I made sure the herbs were watered well,

made a list (and checked it twice) of art supplies I was taking to Kathy's,

and had everything packed and ready to go long before it was time to leave.  The black bag holds my clothes and toiletries for the duration with plenty of room to spare (have I not mentioned I'm a low maintenance kind of gal?), but I couldn't get another thing in the red bag that's holding the art supplies.  Every nook and cranny is filled.  And yes, the die cutter is in the red bag, too!

And finally, what do you do when you keep getting all those horrible spam messages?  You remove the "anonymous" option I've fought so hard in the past to keep.  Let's see if that works, at least for awhile!

Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend.  I'll be back to visit and catch up with you on Sunday.

Yes, I just removed anonymous comments and don't get many spam comments. I'll get a few for a couple of days here and there, but since they always get deleted they must give up on me in short order and then I can sometimes go many months without any spam at all. :)

Hope you two are having a blast!! :):)

Spam is so insidious.....well if you aren't willing to share your name, perhaps you shouldn't comment....Enjoy your play time! Love your pouring tea page. xox

It looks like you are ready to have a really fun time! I hope you have a great visit with Kathy and get some crafting done. I love how the tea page is coming along, and a ripple here and there is not a problem... it's tea!! :)
I don't think I have anonymous commenting on my blog... it's such a shame that the spammers make life so difficult.

I removed anonymous for that reason but unless you are the queen of England why do you want to post something without your name. have a great play time.

Like the tea page and hope you've been having lots of fun.

I must get around to working out how to disable anon commenting as I get a load and they are all spam.
