Today I'm preparing for the big WOYWW (What's on your Workdesk Wednesday) fourth anniversary bash by having tea with Julia, who is our leader.
I've started my tea preparation in true British fashion. I found this piece at a thrift store, but haven't bothered ironing it.
The reason I'm having tea with Julia is because she sent me this wonderful Twinings Rose Garden Tea. According to Twinings web site, "In 1706 Twinings started selling fine teas in England." They now sell all over the world. But Julia sent me this from England where she lives.
In case you can't see the lovely lady and her dress, here is a photo from the Twinings web site.
You should be able to see how much the tea has steeped while I took these few photos.
So, share your tea (or other drink) stories today (leave your link, too, if you choose to join me) while I wait to join Julia later for WOYWW's fourth anniversary.

I am partial to Twinings Lady Grey but haven't seen the one you have in the local stores.
I do like that dishtowel (?) with the cars.

It's amazing they have been around for that long. I love Twinings!
Tea with Julia sounds like a movie title ;)

i'll look for rose garden tea the next time i'm at the store. it sounds perfect for drinking on our patio, since we have no roses at all lol.
I discovered mighty leaf brand tea at a local cafe: http://divers-and-sundry.blogspot.com/2013/05/bella-caffe.html . i had never heard of it before, but they have a chamomile/citrus tea that i am loving.
Sounds like your cuppa with Julia was a success and I hope Bluebeard got a saucer of milk, not the low fat kind.
I can't say I blame you for not ironing...that is likely my most detested job of all around the house. Happy T day!!
You didn't press the Jag tea towel?? Well.... what can I say??? LOL I hate ironing... really hate it, and it is one job I would pay someone else to do... but when I iron I iron everything... sheets, duvet covers, tea towels... Chris' underpants if he has made me cross... ;)
Love the box, I am sure we will see that recycled in your art at some point!!
Wendy's looking very comfy on your desk. You have some great effects on there too.
Sorry I can't join in the swap.

Hi Elizabeth back again.. the glycerine is a preservative and means it does not go off or need refrigerating.. that is the reason, love Shaz in Oz.x
