A new year, a new book for my calendar pages

I'm back at my friend Sally's using her computer while I wait to hear from Blogger about my inability to access my blog from my home.  If you were here last year and followed along with Kate at The Kathryn Wheel as she had each of us show our calendar pages, you noticed I had filled the book I had been using for two years.

I tried several different books, but none were right.  Therefore, I decided to use some old file folders and decorate them as I went along each month.  I also planned to use this three-ring notebook to hold the pages.

One of the nice things about this year's calendar is the entire month fits on a single page that I can scan.  I didn't decorate much for the month because Blogger has not let me on my own site and that very act made me very depressed, even though I spent more time with friends instead of being on the computer.

I also started February's calendar.  There are so many things going on in February, I hope I can get my act in gear and actually create some art, something I really haven't done much of since December.

I want to thank each of you for your continued support of me and my art, even though I can't visit you until I get this blogger issue corrected.  And don't forget to visit Kate and see what others have created this first month of 2013.

Good to see you're keeping up with this despite your computer woes. I too have motivation troubles in Jan. & Feb...for me, I think it's lack of sunshine! Making colorful art really helps though...good luck with it all!

Love your idea of making your calendar pages on a folder! Sorry you're still having Blogger issues. both my son and I had a few weeks where we couldn't upload any pics.I began using Firefox to log in to blogger (instead of IE) and that did the trick.

Ooh love the calendar idea Elizabeth, what a fab way to re-purpose old file-folders, brilliant. I totally agree with some of the other comments in that its a great surface to work on!
Lol I'm so relieved to hear your package arrived safely, you are so very very welcome, it was the best way I could think of to say a huge thank-you for your amazing course. I do so hope you have lots and lots of fun with it all and hope that I chose wisely for you.
I will finish my book in the next couple of months and will post bits as and when I can.
Huge hugs and I hope blogger resolves your issues for you soon, really missing you sweetie. x x x x

Ah, file folders...that's a fun idea! The beauty in this project is that you can always return to any month to add art and whatnot if you desire to.

Hi Elizabeth, lovely pages, love the colour for Feb :-) Looking at Dec page you were really busy I see. Blogger and the internet can be such a pain at times. I had to change my browser last month as I couldn't upload pictures from my computer, changed browser and hey presto! I was having problems on the internet one evening last week I felt sure the bad weather was affecting my broadband, we only have a small telephone exchange here and I think that causes problems as I still have a BT (British Telecom) line, though they're not my provider.

Hi Elizabeth. I'm so happy you are still a part of this challenge :-) But I'm not happy that you are being messed about by blogger - how very infuriating for you. Hope you get that resolved soon.
It's great to see you pages all in one this year!
Thanks so much for being a part of this challenge :-)
