...wishing you a wonderful day Elizabeth, how wonderful to capture the sun streaming through the trees & bathing your garden with warmth & light...Mel :)
You have such beautiful and stately trees!! Did Bleubeard bring you a treat today? If he forgot to it's only because every day is mother's day in his eyes :)
Hi Elizabeth me again...thanks for stopping by me & leaving your loVely comments, the answer is yes :) & thats very kind of you to add me to your sidebar...I came to your blog through our Julia's woyww & liked what I saw, I only follow people whom I can learn something from & admire...I had so wanted to take your AB class but time didn't allow, every week it's on my to do list!...also Bluebeard caught my eye :) what an adorable furry friend, there's a real warmth in his face, my cat Dexter lost his fight at 20years I miss him greatly...anyways it's been nice chatting hope the sun is still shining for you, we have it here too...Mel :)
Thanks for the virtual Mother's day greeting. I know it wasn't meant just for me...grin...but the I enjoyed it none the less. Beautiful big trees in your backyard. Not so fun to rake in the fall I bet but wonderful shade in the hot summer.
This is my best Mothers Day ever! My grown boys actually both called, I went to lunch with one (that's a first!) and my hubby took me to the beach for the afternoon when I got home from lunch. The weather is stellar, beyond perfect! Then after all that family love and goodness I get home and check emails and I'm filled with delightful, positive comments from the IA community. big smile! what a day!
I was actually surprised to hear from you since I know you have company all week; thanks for making time. I did succumb to washi tape madness, though only by a toe dip - I just have a few (used an affordable source recommended by Corrine). They're definitely a fun accent to have. Hope you and Bleubeard have a totally fabulous day too!

Bleubeard and I welcome you
Art, including the journey, background techniques, sewing on both paper and fabric, new experiments, photos, failures, and successes will be shared on this site. I have removed my e-mail address until such time as I can get it to work again. Thank you for understanding. You can always leave a note on my blog and I will visit you.
Please check out my Previous Collaborations link above to see what projects I have been involved in over the past 12 years. Current and ongoing projects only are shown below.
Occasionally, Silent Sunday will showcase photos of my home, neighborhood, or community. A picture is often worth a thousand words.
Feelfree to drop by every second Thursday of the month for my Second Thursday Tutorials. They are interspersed with my other Tutorials found at the link page above.
Click on any lesson you might have missed or want to review
Click on the above image daily and help feed hungry dogs and cats. You can donate cat litter, too. You simply answer two questions (one about cats and one about dogs), and whether your answer is correct or not, you have just donated kibble to help feed both shelter animals and those in need.
I will create the art, critique things I feel are important, and put pen (and sometimes glue) to paper, or fingers to keys, while Bleubeard will mostly watch, supervise, or sleep.
