Pale Tea

After my friend left Monday afternoon, I felt a bit bland. Then last night my beloved Lakers lost their game and this round in the series, which means they won't be advancing. The lack of early morning sunshine didn't help the blandness, either. So today I'm honoring that feeling (not hiding it) with a cup of pale (Pai Mu Tan, a white tea that turns out clear to slightly pale in the cup) tea in a white cup and saucer, a white napkin, and a white placemat.

Sometimes we have to go with our feelings. And although mine was bland when I started, I am now energized and looking forward to the day. Please join Kimmie and friends for Tea Tuesday. You won't be sorry you did!

it's hard when someone goes home after visiting ... your white scheme describes that feeling perfectly ... but knowing you, you will be filling that void with lots of color and friendship in no time flat :)

I have never tried white tea ... I will have to check it out!
