In Memory

Although Memorial Day is a Federal holiday celebrated in the United States, I couldn't help but share it with the rest of the world and my blog readers. Where ever you call home, please remember I'll be thinking of YOUR troops today, too.

Have a safe Memorial Day, as we remember those who have given so much for us, and those who have gone above and beyond. May your memories be of happy times.

You are so sweet for worrying about the weather over here but remember I am in the mountains and hurricanes usually don't come that far inland, we might get a little bit of rain and some slight wind, but we are use to the wind up here, we get that a lot! It's going to travel up the coastline, but even then it's a low grade hurricane, I use to live in Florida, you don't really worry about them unless they are a catergory of 3 or more! :0 waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Thanks for you comment about my AB and working with layers. I'm working really hard to keeping going through the ugly to just keep building and wiping back and adding and covering then wiping back until bits and pieces of all the layers show through. It's REALLY hard sometimes but in the 21 Secrets classes I'm taking, several of the courses advocate to let go of any investment in liking a project at the 2nd or 3rd layer and to just keep going. So, I'm trying. And I find that I usually like the results a lot. So, I encourage you to try it....you have so many background layer options and ideas in your lesson, just try combining 3-6 of them on one page along with a little scribbling or drawing and see what happens. It's actually kind of liberating.
