WOYWW #124

I finally got my basement studio in decent shape. Most everything has been put away. Of course, I still need to find a place for the rocking horse clock.

I suspect I'll put it above the black roll-around cart next to my desk that I use as my cutting area.

But for now, I just need to move it out of the way because

this container is filled with Christmas paper, much of it scrapbook paper, and a bit of silk flowers.

Under the paper is the only brayer I own, along with some papers for using on monoprints. I suspect now that I have found my brayer, I will give monoprints another chance.

Speaking of other chances, I tried to get to everyone last week, but ended up missing a few when the computer briefly shut itself down. Have a great WOYWW and please visit Julia for the rest of the links to this really fun weekly Wednesday blog hop.

Some weeks (!) ago you asked about the gears you saw on my desk. You asked if it´s a rubber stamp. It´s Tim Holtz´s gear mask.

You should put your clock on the walleither to your left or right, but no in front of you, coz then you'll notice the time zooming by too quickly when you craft! Have a really lovely crafty week...

You are so very organized. I like the fact that you have used a lot of black and white for your color theme-makes a basement working area seem so much brighter. One question that keeps coming to my mind, after all that work, and you really worked, what happens if the river overflows it's banks again? Have provisions been made for that? Sorry to be so curious, it's just that I would hate to see anything damaged again.

In regards to your tea post, your kitchen looks so inviting! I love the use of the candles and your table just gleams!

Lovely tidy room! It looks like a great space to work in. Mine's tidy this week too, after all the frenetic busyness of last week. Sorry I didn't make it visiting people last week on WOYWW because I was too busy and then too tired afterwards.

Looks like the basement is getting back to "normal"....what a great space to work! Now, that you've found the brayer a whole new world of printing has opened up...just what you needed more things to do! Have fun.

I only have one sad little brayer too and it has gotten bumpy with gel and glue because I get going and forget to clean it quickly enough. Happy WOYWW!
