Leftover tea

Before we have a bit of tea, I had to show that my comment box is back. After around four weeks of not being able to leave comments to anyone whose blog comments were like the one above (embedded), I can once again leave comments without having to do so via e-mail. I hope nothing happened overnight, because when I went to bed last night, the comment function was back!! And so were my followers!! And a few I didn't realize I had. The only thing still missing is the box that you can link onto to translate my blog. At least, I can't see it, but lots of people said they could see their own and my followers, but I couldn't see anyone's, including mine.

And before we get to the leftover tea, let me remind you of two no hoops giveaways. One is Patty S., who will be joining us for tea today, and one is Marit in the Netherlands. They both have fabulous giveaways, so hop on over and tell both of them hello.

Now it's finally time to join Kimmie and the rest of the gals for tea!

If this were leftover coffee, it would be gone by now. But it is leftover tea which didn't get consumed by friends yesterday. Although the tea was popular, for some reason people wanted the sweetened tea over the unsweetened. So, instead of having day old tea, I pulled this out of the refrigerator (can you tell how cold it is?) and wadded up some lovely lace.

It won't be long till the lace is absorbed by the tea. And now to find where I put the tea I made today (grin). I'm off to visit everyone and hopefully be able to finally leave comments again. Have a wonderful Tea Tuesday!

phew, so glad you are back to normal, comment wise, I could pretend I spent my whole art sabbatical fixing it for you, but that would be a falsehood, I just drew, and painted and knitted and fed chickens and a cat....

when I glanced at the tea I thought you had dropped a marshmallow in their, lace cannot be as tasty surely....

oh, and Seth has started his Pulse feature - thank you so much for the introduction....

see you tomorrow,

I love your re-use of the tea from yesterday ... As Patty says, waste not want not. Or maybe it should be "want not, waste not" for your friends who did not want regular tea :)

Happy Tuesday! Enjoy your day! xoxo kimmie

Great reuse. I have some super old tea that I rescued from my folks house when we did the big clean out that I plan to brew just to dye with. Some of that tea she's had since I still lived at home...YIKES! Gross.

So glad to hear that your comment box has reappeared.
