WOYWW and not a rocking horse in sight

I've been working this entire day, beginning this morning when the red trucks pulled up to my house. I haven't had time to visit anyone, including Julia at Stamping Ground, our hostess.

My art supplies had finally been returned. Or were in the process of such.

The two people were there to deliver my boxes. They were not there to help set anything up or help me unpack.

There are boxes everywhere. Big boxes,

medium sized boxes, but no

poles/spacers to assemble my shelving. So, I'm stuck. They are telling me the shelving spacers or poles or whatever you call them, are probably in a box or two somewhere and they were just there to return the boxes, not assemble the furniture. So I'm apparently on my own. I've opened a few boxes looking for the spacers for the shelving, but to no avail. In case you can't tell, there are over 100 boxes in the craft room and hallway. Each box had a number marked on it, so that's how I know how many I had.

Thanks for visiting. Sorry no rocking horses tonight, because there's no room to put one. I STILL can't leave comments to blogs with embedded comments and I can't send you an e-mail unless yours is on your blog or profile page. I'm going to repeat this rant message until Blogger, who I've contacted, actually does something about it! And, yes I unchecked the "stay signed in" box over three weeks ago to no avail.

Happy WOYWW. You know I'll be in my basement looking for ways to assemble shelving for the next three weeks or so. Then maybe I can start putting a few things away.

Oh my heart goes out to you Elisabeth no poles or things for the craft room actually that is quite scarey how many boxes there are. I pray you dont have to open too many more boxes to find those pesky spacers and that blogger gets nice to you very very soon!! God bless, Shaz in oz.x

Oh dear... it would have helped if they had labelled the dang boxes when they were filling them up!! Hope you come across the spacers soon as there is nothing worse than opening boxes and having nowhere to put the stuff (she speaks from experience)!!
Yep, them scissors are pink and green! I got them for becoming a Fiskarette - pretty cool eh? LOL

Wish I lived closer so I could help. What a pickle! Hope Bleubeard is keeping out of it as I would hate him to get in one of the boxes. Come to think of it he would probably love to be in a box - my little Tabitha would be in a box, suitcase, bag as soon as she could - even at times if there was stuff in it.
Hope you get sorted soon, nothing seems to be going right for you at the moment.
Hugs, Neet #12 (but don't worry about leaving a comment/email - just like to comment on yours)

OYE! This is where the 'virtual' part of friendship with bloggers falls apart. Sorry to be unable to help. But then, the bright side is where would you put 100 bloggy friends who were champing at the bit tofind the supports and rock those 100 boxes unto shelves! :O

ooglebloops said...

How daunting is that????? Opening boxes will be like finding things you had forgotten about!!! Hope you find the shelving first!!!

I've changed my comments to not be embedded. I think that is a lot quicker than waiting for Blogger lol.

Oh dear, how bad can things get - no rocking horse :( It's a bad situation - all those boxes, no poles, and nowhere to put your stuff. Let's hope you find that shelving soon - before you get to the last box would be good. Hope your WOYWW gets better. Elizabeth x #83

I remeber all the boxes when I moved 6 years ago ...it took over a year to open and home everything. Can I suggest that if the contents are not marked already on the box that you give a vague description on it as you open and probably close again ...each box....then when you find the poles that allow you to start to reconstrust things you know which boxes to open next.GOOD LUCK ...I send you loads of good vibes ...and hugs.

Oh my, what a lot of work! Don't you have nephews and nieces or neighbors eager to help out? I don't think I could tackle that on my lonesome. Be sure to pace yourself. Hope you can find those spacers soon. :^) patsy

That is seriously stressful to have to resort all those boxes, and no shelving ready to sort it onto. Just think of the wonderful time you will have once it is all in place. Good luck and have fun.

Looks there is something serious going on. Hope you find the space and energy to unpack all your boxes. When I unpacked all my boxes, after a removal, it sometimes felt like boxing day.
Wishing you good luck and hope you've got organised soon.
