There is no Inspiration Avenue Challenge this week as the Charity Art Auction for Angel Faces, a California group who helps young girls who have been burned and disfigured, is in full swing.
Here are all the items you can bid on at Inspiration Avenue. To place a bid, simply go to Inspiration Avenue and find the item you want to bid on. Leave your bid under that person's item. The auction goes through Saturday (May 7).
Also this is Remembrance Week (May 1-8) at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Here you can see that Genocide from around the world, mainly the Sudan in the photo, is being targeted.
The Museum, located in Washington D.C., draws attention to the Holocaust in which at least 6 million Jews were killed by Nazis. Also honored are Americans who died fighting to relieve the people in the camps.
Although the National Holocaust Museum focuses on Americans, you should remember that people from all over Europe and Africa have suffered the ravages of Genocide and the Holocaust, too. The three photos above are from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
I hope you will visit both of these blogs today.

We remember our Dead,
we never do enough for the living.
Each day we could stop a little hurt, end a little suffering - but we don't.
Thank you for posting this Elizabeth!
Yes, we need to remember and work to make the world a safer place for all.
