Today I'll be drinking Hibiscus tea (sent to me from Annette, aka Voodoo Vixen). To celebrate this lovely tea I've never had before, I had to dig out my mug from Hawaii that has Hibiscus painted on it. As soon as the tea is steeped, I'm going to pull the bag out and dye a bit of lace. Hopefully I'll get triple duty out of this one bag (tea drinking, dyeing lace, and dried bag gets stamped on).
Be sure to check out what all my tea pals are doing today at Kimmie's. I know she's doing something with color, so I hope you visit her place for all the links. And feel free to join us, if you like.

never heard of hibiscus tea, i bet it smells divine!
Amazing that you have a tea mug to match the tea you are drinking. I'll bet the dye will be a pretty color too.

Glad to have tea with you today...We've finally got some sun!! Going to stain the deck after babysitting...busy day for me.
I dry my own hibiscus from my backyard for my hibiscus tea. I lost 2 hibiscus plants this last winter, due to freezing, but hope to plant some more as they are so beautiful and the tea is wonderful.
Is the tea red?
I've not had hibiscus tea, but now i am sorely tempted to try some.
Xx,
Amy
That is serious reuse and making the most of everything and I love it!
I hope you post the lace, I would love to see the lovely colour you should get with the hibiscus tea :) have a great day.
Kudos on the triple duty! The tea sounds wonderful too. Off to rummage in my cupboards for something more exotic to drink... You've inspired me. :)
Now that's making good use of a tea bag! How wonderful that you have a cup to match your tea. I know that the Arabs believe that hibiscus is good for digestive problems. Have fun creating with your lace and dried tea bag. Best wishes, Tammy

Hi Elizabeth, only 3 things?! hehe You can't get much more recycled than that! I bet the lace will be a lovely colour.
