And then it rained

Here is Bleubeard sniffing the outside hose attachment before

I got rid of the plastic. All the paint, except the trim, is now on, beating the rain by a few hours.

I only got eight tomato plants planted before the heavens opened and the rains appeared today. The tomato plants are very small and don't look like much right now. Maybe the rain will encourage them to grow. You can see the downspouts are still not on, so I hope it doesn't rain too much.

Bleubeard was undaunted by the rain because the tree was protection enough to keep the rain away, at least in the beginning.

And I had an opportunity to admire the painted entry, which will get the trim painted after the rain. Bleubeard and I are now inside where the rain and high winds won't get to us. I hope the weather is great in your part of the world. All this in the course of a morning and part of an afternoon.

Money can't buy you love or homegrown tomatos, one of my favorite songs :D. I still have to get the garden ready, we had soooooo much wet weather, then it went to hot. Love the new porch :D. Happy Wednesday!

Ha ha - you should've seen what our Sunday was like! Actually, you can, I just blogged about it, lol! Anyway, it's always nice to see the contented Bluebeard - he's such a lovely moggy. Our new little kitten (got in Dec' 10) is a giant pussy cat now but still has the heart and the mentality of a kitten! Wel,, technically he still is a kitten.
Yay tomatoes!

We had rain and hail last night and then scattered showers on and off today. At least I was able to catch a few nice shots in the early morning light today before the clouds moved in.
The house is looking awesome!!!

Your new porch looks wonderful. I know you are enjoying it. I've been happy for the rain we have been getting too. My beans may make it this year.

Bleubeard looks pretty content on the steps, rain or not. DH has his tomatoes in too but as you say they look a bit puny at this stage.

Those tomato plants will grow fast as soon as they are a bit established. This is to a good harvest!
