Yesterday I had my Zi6 camera. I was going to remove the video I took Wednesday night, and I was also going to use the celestial photo I took Wednesday night. All I remember is, I had the camera in the mountain canyons near Santa Monica and took photos while Joseph was driving to the car rental place. As we were leaving the rental office, I paid no attention to anything except following Joseph to the hotel. After that, I have NO idea what happened to my camera. I tried taking a few photos at the restaurant, and two at the rehearsal, but the Vivitar requires a flash to function well inside. And there is no way I could get photos of Joseph and Meredith, even walking slowly down the aisle after the mock "service.." To further complicate matters, Joseph has no card readers.. So it looks like I'm totally out of luck in the still picture department, and even more out of luck finding my camera, which is now probably taking photos of surfers on the beach!
The good news is, I am staying at Joseph's, and he and Meredith are both staying at the hotel tonight and tomorrow night. Of course, tomorrow night they will share a room, but tonight about all they will do is text each other and try to get a good night's sleep.
Both the men's and women's parties were starting to wear down about the time I left. Although it was fun, I really didn't know any of the women at the party. They were all Meredith's friends from her school days at Tulane and are all mostly doctors (medical), lawyers, and an actress or two. I was actually glad to get away from the hubub of the party, and after a quick soak in a nice hot bath, I decided to see about getting photos off the Vivatar. I quickly realized I wouldn't be downloading the few photos I have, none of which are very good. So now everyone is caught up to my antics, my mishaps, and my outright mistake of misplacing my Zi6. Until I get home, there will be no photos, so I apologize. Keep your fingers crossed that I find my camera. Although it doesn't seem probable now, I will still be wishful.
