Inspiration Avenue: Hello Spring

It's been too long since I played in the Inspiration Avenue Challenge. I checked yesterday and saw the theme was spring, offered by my dear friend Stephanie.

So as I was unloading photos from my trip to California, I found about a dozen that I took in a garden at a church. Here is one of those photos. To me it screams "hello spring." In my mind, there couldn't have been a better subject this week. Welcome to spring from a landscape I enjoyed a couple of weeks ago . Yep, I'm off to play in this challenge, even though I'm checking in late this week.

What pretty little daisy things! (You can tell I am not a gardener because I haven't a cookin' clue what they are really)!! I have snow... just for a change... flippin' stuff just keeps falling out of the sky...

Love the daisies.... wish they were growing in your yard, cause then it would be spring here too. So happy you had a wonderful trip to CA. But was sorry the Joshua trees were missing... that is a sad note. Can't wait to see the rest of the story... -Donna

Aren't they lovely..I think we call them Livingstone daisies - they close up at night and whenthe light is stron enough they stretch and open beautifully...perfect little flower. Glad you're feeling up to a bit of browsing.

I wish we had Spring here :(
It's barely hitting the 30's!
But you're right--this is perfect for Spring.

Sweet, sweet flowers!! I am wishing for spring but happy that we are below freezing since is is slowing the melt. Rivers are nearly at flood stage and we have LOTS of snow yet to melt and more o the way if the forecasters are to be believed. The 2 nearest river crossings have closed already...likely for at least 2 months. BAH!!

Happy to see you enjoying the spring flowers. We've had much rain but a blossom or two has opened at our house too.
